What do I need for 6-hit 100TP gain?

For any experienced samurais here, what would I need in terms of gear/merits to accomplish a 6 hit 100 TP gain return? I'm debating whether or not to get rid of my Tamas, in favor of the Rajas ring with the store TP it gives.

The only pieces of gear that contribute are my Hachimon Kote, Chivalrous Chain, Brutal Earring. I also have the Myochin Haidate +1, but I'd rather use the kitty pants for TP gain.

It depends on which weapon you're using, but for a standard 450 delay GKT, you need +46 sTP total. +25 is from JTs, so you need +21 from gear/merits, merit for 10, leaving +11 needed from from gear. You shouldn't have any problem hitting it if you use Hachiman Hands + Feet without Rajas.

Add: Alternatively you could pick up an Attila's Earring and barely make the +11 with Kote/Chiv/Brutal/Attila's, they're usually dirt cheap, although you'd also have to WS in the Attila's to keep WS > 100 TP going the way it should, and that may not be favorable if you have a Bushi/Triumph or something along those lines.

Ahh great, that's a lot less than what I thought I needed. Just need 1 more TP with my setup.

Yeah, unfortunately, I have a brutal earring, so I'll be wearing that full time. I'm probably gonna look into getting the hachiman feet though. I might have to sacrifice 3 haste from the fumas, but oh well. =/

And the weapon I use is the Hagun with 450 delay.

LoL, I even own an Ecphoria and forgot about that...yeah, you're only 1 sTP short so that would be a very good option...I don't know that I'd ever take a Bushido Cape over Amemet+1/Forager's though.

Probably Ecphoria/Fumas for TP, then WS in Hachiman Sune-Ate would be the way to go, if you WS in you're missing out on 6-7 STR between the Hachiman feet and whatever ring you could use.

If I were to do the Bushido Cape, I'd be sacrificing 15 atk and 2 str from my amemet +1.

But that new Ecphoria Ring seems like a possible choice.

To achieve this you'll need approx 48 Store TP bare minimum. (11.5 TP x 1.48 = 17.02 TP)


At lv 75 you will natively have 20 Store TP. Merits can boost this to 30, and then another 5 if you have a Rajas. The remaining 13 can easily be gotten from a few pieces of Hachiman equipment, particularly the gloves and feet (that will actually give you exactly enough and they're pretty good pieces for their respective equipment slots)

I made a mistake, it's 25 Native Store TP @75 not 20, sorry. So you really only need +8, which you can get just from the gloves.

Yeah, I've decided that I'm gonna switch out the Tamas Ring for Rajas when I start leveling ninja (which is at 37 currently). Two jobs that can benefit from the Rajas definitely beats 5 int and MP for my blm, with the MP I don't really need as a taru =)

With the hach hands and feet, I should hopefully have enough to get 100 TP with 6 swings. woo!

Incorrect, you need to get each swing of 16.7 TP , or
5 swings that give you 16.7 TP (46 total STP) and 16.5 on WS (44 total STP), or
some other combinations that give you more than 16.7 TP on TPing but lower TP during WS

44 STP will bring you like .1 shy , so the bare minimum is 45. That's easily attained as pointed out with merits and gear.

1.44 * 11.5 = 16.5

16.5 + 16.7*5 = 100.0

11.5 TP x 1.44 STP = 16.56 TP (though that 6 gets rounded down doesn't it?) = 99.36 (or an even 99 if you drop the 2nd decimal) TP in 6 swings.
