Does anyone have a list of which GK weapon skills work with Sneak Attack? I just managed to level my THF to the full sub level and would like to figure out which ones work with SA

Any weaponskill that is not elemental will work with Sneak Attack.

the main ones you will want to use are

enpi, jinpu, gekko, and kasha.

i forget if yukikaze gets used with SA...

Jinpu is wind elemental, Yukikazy (sp?)... i see many SAMs use it with SA.

yar, omni almost had it. Take his list and replace Jinpu with Yukikaze and you have every SA-able GK WS (<-- too many acronyms).

Err technically Tachi:Hobaku also stacks with SA. That is, if you want your Stun WS to deal about 50% more damage and be sure not to miss...

Answer first; ALL GKatana WS' work w/ SA.

GKatana WS' make exceptions to the definition that Aeolus gave. Taking GK WS' into consideration, it's rather correct to say "any 100%-hit WS' don't work w/ SA. All others do."

Before GKatanas were implemented, in other words before RoZ, all elemental WS' were also 100%-hit, so Aeolus's definition was correct at that time. But w/ the introduction of GKatana and its WS', it held no longer true.

All WS' fall under one of the 4 categories below;

1. Physical
2. Elemental (Physical)
3. Elemental (Magical)
4. Special (i.e. Spirits Within)

Those WS' in the categories 1 and 2 work w/ SA, and only 4 GK WS' fall under 2.

All G.Katana WS stacks with Sneak Attack. When used during xp parties, you will see the increase of damage.

As bside from above post mentioned, all Magical WS has 100% accuracy. Weapons skills like Burning Blade (sword), Spirit Within (sword), Gust Slash (dagger), are magical: They always land on the mob. G.Katana WS like Tachi: Jinpu does not have 100% accuracy, even the description said it does two wind attack, it is not Magical WS. You can view it as a Physical WS that has elemental property in it.
If you see a WS that can miss on a mob, it is very likely that it can stack with Sneak Attack. However, not every WS that stack with Sneak Attack would give zomg high damage.

I had heard this concept before but honestly, I never noticed much of a damage increase. I suppose I'll bust out Sam and GK and go play around (hah, when I reactivate)... Also, while I've always wondered about Blade:Chi and Tachi:Jinpu for being 2-fold, I've actually never seen a Kaiten or a Kagero miss.

Mayhaps it's because +attack does very little for elemental WSs (effect of a critical hit is basically a super-drived attack bonus with a higher cap, no?) since it's checked against magic defense instead... i dunno. TESTY! GO!
