O kote is a good hand...but..maybe i was thinking overrated at the time because of price, they really shouldnt cost that damn much.

and i dont think ill be any less of a good samurai without the AF. the emnity on the pieces are undesireable to me. The head is nice, and ill get the AF weapon and the other piece needed to get the head. but why bother to get the rest? i dont have a huge amount of time to play so i see myself just using Hauby for body and O kote for hands get AF legs and ill figure out something with feet.

I just dont think its right to catagorize a player that do not get every possible piece of gear for their job as "undedicated" if i did obtain every piece, half would be sitting in my mog house >.<

I'd recommend you replace your balance ring with a courage ring.

1ACC and a minimal bonus to crits won't help as much as STR for your WS mods and attacks.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. I'm steaming along fine at the moment. Right now for food using Rice Dumplings. Since Im in my 30s and sushi isnt as potent as later levels.
So the atk%+ and the +5acc is still pretty useful.

Rice Dumplings are an excellent choice, glad you were able to pick those out for yourself.

You might want to try Dhalmel Pies at least until you break 34, as otherwise you're wasting a lot of ATK, and thus gil. Of course, if Rice Dumplings and Dhalmel Pies are close enough on your server, better off with Dumplins.

Yeah the Hachiman Domaru is the jse body at 70 as someone posted the stats for you. Figured it'd be a little ways off but I find that looking at the ah for future gear is beneficial in the case that someone decides to drop the price of it a ton. Typically every other month the price of domaru on ragnarok will slip a little before going back up. Of course that can be said about a lot of gear for every job but I said h.domaru since you already have quite a bit of nice gear to use already.

Gear: Accuracy & Attack Gear for building TP, swap to +STR gear for WS (if your /thf for sneak attack so ya don't miss)

Sell the Fuma and the Juju, I never needed em, unless you wanna use em for something else. O-kotes are WAY overpriced, but also awesome. If ya can't afford them (I dont blame ya) see if ya can manage to camp em. Can be pretty much til endgame.

Anyway, I had another question.

I'm 75 DRK and leveling PLD to 75 [67 at the moment] aswell, and definately taking SAM to 75 too... (I'm ambitious. -_- )

But I had a question about Merits.

Since I will have 3 jobs for sure at 75, I was wondering how to make use of my combat skill Merit Points.

Right now, I have Scythe Merit up to level 4. If I remember correctly. You can have a total of 12 Units of Combat Skills I think?

So I'm trying to make the best use as I can from them.

So I was thinking of leaving scythe alone now. Doing 4 levels of sword, leaving me with 4 Levels for Great Katana.

What do you guys think?

I could just forgo sword skill I think and do 6 scythe and 6 GK.

On the AF issue, you could go ahead and get all of them for upgrading to AF+1 (you mentioned you were planning on it). I haven't looked at the AF+1 stats in a while, but I do seem to recall Samurai getting some pretty good boosts to certain pieces.
