Polearms?

Is there any point in using polearms as a SAM? I noticed that some are useable, but I've always figured there wasn't much point in lvling that comabt skill if you never plan to play DRG.

The only time I can think of a SAM actually wanting polearm leveled for something other than fun or capped combat stats is when fighting stuff that takes 0 slashing damage and x2 piercing in limbus. That or they could just sub RNG and use sidewinder...

well...I guess since I'm no where near th stage where Im doijg Limbus runs I can just worry about that later!

You wont really find that many situations where it will be more useful than GK. But hey, it's fun to penta-spam while farming!! So lvl it as a side project if you feel like it.

I'd suggest leveling it for versatility, and carry the best polearm you can use around with you as well your GK. You never know when some party may want you to use Polearm WS.
