Ok, I'm a Lvl55 Elvaan male samurai. My equipment is as follows;

Weapon- Dotanuki
Sub- n/a
Ranged- n/a
Ammo- n/a

Head- Windurstian Hachimaki
Neck- Spike Necklace (Merman's Gorget for lvl56)
Earring1- Beetle Earring+1
Earring2- Beetle Earring+1
Hands- Federation Tekko (Myochin Kote)
Body- Brigandine
Ring1- Venurer's Ring
Ring2- Ronin's Ring
Waist- Life Belt
Back- Wolf Mantle
Legs- Myochin Haidate
Feet- Myochin Sune-Ate

Any advice on equipment and on weapons would be much appreciated.

Ronin only kicks in when you're in yellow hp (you're a DD, that won't happen often) and when you're under 100% tp (you're a samurai!) so I would definately suggest ditching Ronin.

RK body or bust. There's no cheap way around it.
RK hands has +3 acc and you don't even use a bow so they're better than the tekko.

grab a cheap bow and arrow >.>

that other ring slot is kinda figured by what food you're using. most samurai would prolly say you're there for consistent tp, not damage and say dual snipers + acc food but I think you could slap on a STR ring and be just fine and even do some damage which always = faster exp....

there is some other posts like this but get off topic fast listen since ur 55 get RK body an RK hands a bow get a +1 lighting bow dex+ still plays a factor till 65 zanbato at 61 skip ur af body get it when ur doin ZM4 or an farm run for it or waste ur money and buy oils and powders >.> dont save for the 59 hauby u'll use it till 75 (swapin out with jse for WSes) get fang earrings then at 62 get corals merman if u want to pay 800K >.> or whatever ur server price is Sun ring beside that verner hmm maybe onikiri for 65 keep it u'll need it when ppl need help near the castle the +5% crit does kick in more than u think lol. heres my set up

you can also try to get a Master Gi
