Third Eye and New Job Ability

Samurai

-The effect of the samurai job ability "Third Eye" will be adjusted. -A new job trait will be added.

although it says new job trait, not ability, it seems that probably all jobs will get a new ability at lv75, probably through some quest. Maybe they'll change third eye to dodge and counter like the relic pants give, who knows, just have to wait.

Was halfway thinking that myself, then up the amount of counters to say.. 2 hits upon countering with AF2 pants. All i know is i'm just excited SAM (regardless of what it's going to be) is getting somthing after all this time.

not saying that you shouldn't get something like that...
but if SE allows for double hit counters, MNk should get it first. -_-

Hmmm.....the effect of Third eye will be adjusted
it would be nice to dodge and counter or dodge 2 attacks
i read in the forum that the new sam job trait was some kind of evasion boost as you go further from the enemy,i think this might be useful when you are running away from a mob to zone it ,when pulling or fighting against rng in ballistas.
and i hear about a new job abblity that binds and a enemy at distance; do you know more about that?????

That was on some JP dude's wish list when CoP was coming out... along with a thief ability to enhance experience with the killing blow.

I wouldn't put to much stock in the increased evasion from ranged.

I wouldn't be surprised, however, if the new trait would enhance the viability of Samurais to choose a bow as their main choice of attack. Either a ranged attack up trait or ranged accuracy up trait.

Right, like allow SAM to perform Bow WS without RNG sub. I just wish they'd release the info already rather than play these guessing games.
