Bought mine for around 200k a piece. I believe they are somewhere in the 300s now though. Although I did buy mine quite a long time ago.

not sure how old kujata is, but i believe it's as old as midgar..... one of the people who played from day one might be able to clear this up... im not sure.

based on the info so far on your guys eq, and cost, i've probably used up enough gil, or have enough gils to top equip about 2 sam, or at least decent equip for about 3, maybe more..........

ah hell, im stuck where i am, unless SE does a "you can move to any server u want to day" or i deside to start over at level one on a new server.....

on Lakshmi snipers are 420K, kotes are 500K, Haubergeon is 2.4M, not sure about Haubergeon+1 ;-;

The damascus ingot itself is 2.1M, god why couldn't I have landed on one of the cheap servers. I hate all you lucky bastards

ran into the bc, and in my excitement i didn't use meditate or third eye, and i just ran straight up to maat.
hit him once and came to the realization that i had forgotten those two key points i just mentioned... so i hit what i thought was my third eye macro, but it was my vile elixir macro. so i used my vile before maat had even landed a hit. sweet.
maat used meikyo -- combo 407 -- spinning attack 198 -- liquefaction 99 -- tackle 171 -- fusion 128 -- maat hits kujo for 108

tried to get my vile +1 off before tackle, but tackle and the attack stopped it. stun wore off and i was able to use it right before a hit for 148.

i used my meikyo (forgot to change my gear.....)-- yuki -> gekko -> meditate -> yuki

meditate still hadn't given me 100tp so i just kept using hi potions, and maat kept hitting for 108 so my hp stayed relatively the same. used a gekko somewhere in between hi-pot guzzling.
8 hi-pots later i ran out, and it was me with 500 hp vs maat with 40% hp.
he beat on me until i was down to 33/1330 hp -- 88%tp, then i used third eye to block his attack, landed a hit and then tossed gekko for teh victoly.

hi guys. Im lvl68 now before i fight maat i really wish to get as much info as possible. hope can bit him on 1st try. dont wanna waste my friends time to get me get test paper.

1st of all i assume its easier to get the test paper from castle Zvahl Baileys ?? where do i look for blood and gore demon? are they easy to find?

2nd. im a elvann. seen many of you used tachi: yuki on maat. from my experince tachi: yuki really miss alot. ( maybe its just me but i've +45 accu ) i think i really cant afford to miss any of the ws right? will sc tachi: jinpu all the way work? any help is appreciated thank you

blood demons were a pain to get testimonies from... they rarely popped, and a rdm demon always popped in their place. gore demons are easier to find, have better drop rate, but hit really hard. or you can kill yagudo templar, which is 100% drop.


don't worry about the skillchain thing.. i didn't do it and i still won. i think you just have to get him below 15% health. i used yuki on him 2 times and gekko 3 times, and none missed.. and i only had +23 acc because i forgot to change equips after his meikyo

just take lots of hi-potions, and one of each vile elixir, and there is pretty much no way to lose ;o

I just fought maat. I bought 6 hi potions. 1 Vile Elixer, 1 Vile Elixer +1, Icarus wing, Arhat's Jinpachi, Arhat's Gi, Boiled crab, Phalanx Ring.

I decided to use Arhat's gear because both the head gear and the Gi gives -10% physical damage. I ate boiled crab. He did about 100 per hit on me on the regular hits. Easily recovered by Hi-potions.

So I went in, I med in the chamber of oracles rather than the actual BC. I didn't know that until I engaged Maat.

I hit him, but he didn't use his two hour right away. He used it with about 80% of his health. I was chugged about 3-4 hi potions before he used it. He used combo on me and did 382. Then Spinning fist for another 100. Liquidfaction did 60. I knew I had to evade the shoulder tackle but I pressed the hi potion macro instead. At this point I was left with about 150-200hp. I used Vile elixer +1 right away and busted out my two hour. First I used Gekko (potion), then I used yuki (induration), then I used hi potion, gekko again (frag), and then I used gekko again for the win. I actually broke the record by two minutes on Fairy for it too. My time was 2 minutes and 43 seconds. Probably because I didn't wait for med to cool down before going in.

Good thing too because I ran out of hi-potions. I didn't use the Icarus wing or Vile Elixer.

The dmg log on maat was 450 gekko, 450 yuki, 350 gekko, 250 gekko. My rough estimate is that he's got about 2000HP.

You meditate and third eye. Wait till third eye is at 15 on the recast go in a Yuki. He will Meki and start off (most of the time) With combo. Your first third eye will eat the first hit and you will take the next 2. At this point take the next WS which was Shoulder tackle for me. Third eye and use your 2 hour. Gekko > Yuki > Gekko = Maat dead.
