RETURNING PLAYER

Hi im a returning player after about 2-3 years absence and everything seems dead, i managed to recover my old character but my highest level is a 53 whm and a few more between 20-40 but everyone seems to be to high a level now with very little new jobs being started and partys a near impossible ive had to solo so far. I dont know if its just the Odin server or if this is the general thing for most servers now but any knowledge would be much appreciated. Would consider moving server if need be.

My old LS is gone now and im looking for a friendly ls to join to maybe help me come to grips and learn everything again and to socialise aswell

I'm currently on Sylph so i can't speak for the Odin server. As for parties ect. if you are trying to level your whm, you should go to Crawler's Nest and do a book burn party, look up grounds of valor for more information on that. If you server transfer it seems like cerberus or valefor are the more common servers on this forum.

Sup everybody I'm in the same boat. Returning player from 2007, with a question for you guys.
I was on the Gilgamesh server which is now on the carbuncle server name was Zionfarm. I'm going through the process of reactivating this old character through square-enix trouble ticket system.
My question is should I go ahead and make a (new) character with the same name while I'm waiting to see if they can reactivate my old Zionfarm character?
From reading the Q&A's section on the square-enix site, I should be fine.

If your character is not on the server on their side anymore you shouldnt have a problem.

Where else could i find my old playonline ID. That seems to be the biggest thing with square-enix.

Oh man I got my account back. I'm so happy I wasn't able to select a new server but very excited. I got around to callinmg square-enix and within 10 minutes the gut found my account and Wam Bam thank you Ma'am I'm back.

Got everything back my character had back in 06 down to the stuff I had in my house.
