Ok, I searched around a bit and couldn't seem to find anything to help myself out. I recently just started fishing after I collected a Yew Fishing Pole from a Goblin Fisher. Went and bought some Little Worms and was away just fine. Caught a few Moat Carp and Crayfish in Bastok then my pole snapped. Acquired another Yew pole and went back to fishing, I caught one Crayfish and my inventory was full so I had to let it go, but since then it has been 100% no catches. I tried different spots in Bastok, have spent over 2 hours trying with no catches and went and bought some Insect Balls as well. Still absolutely nothing. Oh yes, one other thing too, I did one cooking recipe for a quest and noticed a Cooking Skill gain of 0.1. But out of the 10 fish or so I caught before my problem I never got a single gain..is that normal for fishing?

<<Why just a few?>> Fishing Fatigue maybe? And yeah fishing skillups are really slow compared to crafting. I think I fished maybe 25-30 times and am still at about 0.9

There is an RMT countermeasure right now for fishing. If you're a new player, you have to either wait two weeks, or get to level 20. Then you can fish the normal amount. Until then, it's only going to be 10 or so fish per day.

I thought the level 20 thing was regardless of how long you've been playing. Which is stupid, but stupid is how SE nerfs things that RMT have exploited.

So it's wait two weeks and get to level 20.
