|   trying to return but pol isn't letting my card through
hi, heres the thing, i am planning to returning to ffxi after a 7 month(?) hiatus, and the old card i had registered under had expired. now i can't seem to register my new card, they just give me the USC-60257 error, something about server being busy/ my card info is wrong then, i try a couple few more times, this time they give me the "you cant register with this card" error, anyone having this same problem? hope i can solve this before resorting to that gift VISA card tactic.. thanks in advance. T-T |

Have you tried just removing your old CC info? If it's a prepaid card I don't know if it'll work. Usually if it says "you cant register with this card" means it has hit it's credit limit for me back then, I use my Debit Card now.

I'm having similar issues so I've decided to start a trial character to get back into the swing of things.If that goes well I guess I'll stick with it

im using my debit card.. it only has mastercard logo on it though ( no visa) , or is it mandatory to have both visa and mastercard on it?

It should be working fine for you, I recommend either call your CC company or Square Enix Customer Support. There shouldn't be any "mandatory" on having both Visa & MasterCard on it.
