It's been almost 4 years...

...since I played this game. Now I wanna play again (I have no idea why XD), and I've obviously stumbled upon some problems...

1. I have the CDs and all the important registration numbers that I need for my account, but I can't remember my PlayOnline ID (although I know the password). Is there any way to get my ID name through my e-mail?

2. An obvious question: will my character still be there?

3. When/if I get my account set up again, can I switch payment method from a CC to a Debit?

(1) Probably gonna have to call POL on that one and verify Name, Address, Date of Birth and all that to get your account info

(2) Possibly not, being that its was before SE the time SE was delete-happy toward inactive accounts. But then, I did have two friends return to the game recently and they played around the same time you did. They came back through the Return Home to Vana'diel campaign.

(3) If its a Visa/Mastercard debit/check card, you should be fine. Any debit card without a CC logo probably won't be accepted.

1) No you can't get that info through your email. You can contact SE:

Have your personal info, credit card info, POL ID and password (returning and established players), and possibly your registration codes.

(Obviously you don't have your ID but have all of the other information.)


2) Thats a question only SE can answer. Try this:

3) Payment is through Visa or Mastercard. It can be a credit card, debit card, or gift card as long as it has either logo.
