Am I able to get my main toon back' if I've been gone for 3 years?

its possible, the main thing is if you just canseled your ID or if you deleted your characters as well....

if you did the later, then you might have some issues, also... this question has been asked MANY times, next time please use the search.

Oh and one last thing...... dont call them toons -.-

I was gone for 4+ years and had all my stuff online when I re-opened my content ID's. As long as you didnt do anything dumb like delete your chars, cancel your Playonline account ETC your stuff should be fine

Like they said, it all depends. I got my main character back after 2 years, but I never canceled or deleted anything. I just let the acct. get suspended because I didn't pay for it one month.

Yes. There's no real reason to delete characters.

A) Toons = WoW Characters = FFXI (get it straight and get it fast.) Calling them toons is a insult.

B) If you just deleted your content IDs you can get your characters back, provided you still remember your POL address. But, if you deleted your characters you can only get them back if they have been deleted for 1-3 months, after 3 months, you cant get them back.

The only reason you should delete a character is if you are tired of that Race/Name or you just don't want to ever Play FFXI EVER!!

I've never heard a serious or mature WoW player call their characters "Toons". I think it's a awful name either way. Can't say how awful I consider both the name and this FFXIvsWoW thing cause that would be trolling and you all know Trolls are from the Horde! Those Bastards!

I didn't think there was a cost, if you just canceled your credit card, it wouldn't cancel your characters only your content IDs. So, I don't know why it would cost you 20$ to just add your credit card back on to your account. (I think this is what you said anyway.)

Off topic, but "toons" came from EverQuest or possibly even before that.

I will also call my characters whatever the hell I feel like calling them and you can go and feast on a bowl of dicks if you don't like it.

He probably thinkin $20 if you didnt pay the bill or somethin... yea, you'd have to pay a balance if you let the acct lapse like I did.

You are correct sir! I also would call my character a toon if there weren't so many anal people in this game that think they are so much better than others. It's a word people GET OVER YOURSELF! I've been playing MMO's since......FOREVER and we started calling them toons a long ass time ago. You know, I remember when I first heard the word "Toon" and for whatever reason I was thinking about "Cartoon". Mind you this was not too long after I learned what a "Mule" was.
