This is the day I decided to quit to better my life, ha..ha.ha... Anyway a friend and I have been talking about wanting to play this game again. The thing is I know SE are really back about there game (I am aware my CD keys won't work).

So if I do buy a new copy of the game, what do you think the chances would be of me being able to get my old 74PLD back?

I still have my 4 CD-key's on the back of my manual. Would remember everything on my personal information I summited including character name and server I was on.. The only thing is there would be no passable way for me to remember or find out what the credit card I used way back then was. I was a minor and used my dad's. It's long expired but think there would be a good chance at me being able to retrieve?

I kinda miss FFXI >.<

Your CD keys don't need to work more than once. As long as you have your POL ID (which never expires) you can log right back into PlayOnline. Your content IDs (which your characters are stored on) may not be there, but you can still access the game.

I'd suggest trying that to see if your character is still there before buying another copy. Though to be fair, you'd want to buy it for the expansions anyway. Regardless, chances are kind of slim if you deleted it. But if you didn't delete the character and you can remember the details of the account from back then there is a possibility.

Without the credit card info, I'm not sure though. That's pretty key.

I can't remember exactly I think I might have deleted my content ID to stop the billing of the CC I am not 100% sure though, I can remember even exactly what my character had equipped even, hehe, well most of it.

Well time to go dig in storage and give it a shot, I dought he will still be there though... but maybe, just maybe if I go sacrifice a goat on top of Mt. Olympus I will see him sitting there saying get your WAR36 -> 37 you lazy guy (seriously thats the reason I left) no one wanted a 74PLD/36WAR... lol and oh what's it called..

think Gerlash Citadel was just to painful to go back too.

Actually I think that's what I am going to do right now, storage here I come, haha

Update** totally found my box, but discs where scattered all around dunno if I actually have them all. I have a disc called:

PlayOnline Viewer / Tetra Master
Final Fantasy XI CD1-4

Dunno if that's all of em, I know im missing Zil'Art some where, couldn't find it though

Ok next question, I managed to get into viewer, for some reason I managed to get my PlayOnline ID (I had it writen in my book, no idea what it was but lol) but when I try to log log into it, says incorrect password, is there any retrieval system I could use?
