After 2 years im back =T - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

I never got my FF XI character very high level, max probably 22...i'm having a HUGE urge to start playing again and actually trying to level my character max maybe? I'm wondering are things still lively in the servers? I don't want everything to be all dull and dimm when Get back into it...any ideas about where I should start?

Ffxi still has a lively community like years ago. You might find some of your friends to be still playing at incredibly high levels now.

Thanks a lot Kitty, I feel so welcomed here, lol. Sadly non of my friends play FF XI because of P2P and WoW. I feel that WoW is too easy and tried LOTR for 30 mins and got bored. I hope it really is lively, especially in Selbina or something. :[

Well, I have been working on a few different characters lately and I have to say that partying isn't the same as it was back in the day for the lower levels. I recently took 3 jobs through the Dunes and had a party once. It kind of annoyed me because I hate having to ask someone to power level me or doing it myself with my husbands character. I really do prefer to party with others. Now this could be different on other servers but Midgard is quite a large server and it is mega slow in the Dunes. Now I'm on Quifm with all 3 jobs and I'm having the same problem. Two of my jobs are whm and rdm so you'd think I'd be snapped up in a jiffy but no. Anyone else having this type of luck on their server?

Well, I'm new to this forum but on the Seraph Server things are pretty lively. the dunes arent as packed as they once were like i suspect all server's are. but i took Dnc through not too long ago and it wasnt too dificult, my friend (a returning player bent on smn) has had some dificulty with his blm and whm, but by qufim things arent all that different. Best part is that Seraph isnt an over or under populated area. and the people themselves are prety good, typically nice and peleasent. lol. consider it, and if you do send me a message 8)

Just got the game, starting off in Odim ( The overpopulated server, or so i've heard haha :D ) Mithra RedMage. Hopefully things go well, thanks for all your help gal's and guys
