"Yet Another" player considering returning
Well Hey,
Sure everyone si sick of reading the same old "im returning threads" but I have a few questions if someone has the tiem to answer.

To start I played FFXI Between the US PC launch and the UK PC launch, joined somewhere a few months after US launch and stoped playing a couple of months before EU launch. mainly I felt there was only Japanese speakers on times I played as well as Peak UK times were almsot dead due to little of us importing to play. Thats generally the reason i stoped playing FFXI I believe.

I had experience playing msot jobs to 20-25 and man as 41 RNG and SMN 35. But I have no clue on ever remembering any details of my accont information, So id be picking up FFXI 2007 Edition for Xbox 360 and restarting new.

Well questions are,

1. How are the low level areas for finding groups theese days, Is it worse than before sitting in the Dunes and the Jungle due to lack of partys and people playing low level Jobs now? Basically if there still many poeple elveling new jobs of new players to the game

2. Is there much still to do as a new character to the game or is it best at the moment to jus get leveled up as fast as possible to start the action?
- What level is considered high theese days
- Many groups for mission, story quests etc

3. What Jobs are most needed on your server and what Jobs get picked into groups the easiest now? (I'd probably base my Job chocie towards one of theese since im guessing DD's still have a large problem grouping)

4. Anyone recently return as a level 1 character?
- Hows was elveling up to 30, 40.50?
- Are there many heads around playing new/low level jobs
- Generally how wa sit returning as a level 1 again

Probably gone on for to long but, Thanks ina dvane for any replies, and maybe you can sway me to return

Re: "Yet Another" player considering returning
I can't answer any of these questions because I'm not even playing *just* yet.. But, you should come back!!! Go to Ramuh, lol. I am headed there in a few weeks.. I am sure you'll love it much better than before. It's an awesome game.. I only left because I was addicted to a point where it was what my life revolved around hahaha. I'm more mature now(Or at least I'd like to think so..) and I know how to balance things better, lol. Anyway, I'll shut up now, but.. You should come back!

Re: "Yet Another" player considering returning
Hmmm...

1) It seems like most players prefer soloing to 20 now but you can still see plenty of parties at the dunes (at least in Fenrir that is), and after that low level partying is still going fairly strong nowadays.

2) Your problem isn't about there not being much to do for a low lvl player, the problem is all the things there are to do and how they keep increasing in number as you level up. I'd need 12 hours a day to catch up and I've been playing for 3 years now.

3) I wouldn't recomend basing your job selection on the job market or you'll get bored fast. The road to 75 is long and if you only play a job just because it's the most desired but that you don't like you'll get burned out fast.

I'd suggest taking it easy at first and trying out different jobs till you find the one you enjoy the most.

You gotta give him some credit though, I've never seen anyone withstand so many DIAF and still be able to come back with another new char from the ashes.

And no, I don't mean he is like Phoenix or anything like that, just that he seems to be very fire resistant.

Almost like he's ... retardant.

He's probably been leveling since yesterday and is something like level 55 now.

And I did my best to avoid using the word retardant.

But yeah he must probably be on his way to complete his AF as we speak.
