Returning player looking 4 server and LS suggestions? - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

I used to play FFXI back in the day when it first came out. I took a break but am comming back as a fresh start. I used to play a lvl 64 thf/nin, lvl 60 brd/whm and lvl 75 whm/blm.

I am looking for suggestions a server and a LS would be nice but not nesscary. I also have a buddy comming back too he pretty much played tank.

If anyone has any good suggestions reply here and thank you much.

I'd think most servers aren't all that different from one-another. Ifrit is a reasonably average server, I think, besides being a bit higher than average on AH prices. (That's actually not a bad thing, mind you--if you're starting fresh, selling crystals on AH is likely to be your main income, while your low level food can be purchased cheaper from the fixed priced NPC's.)

The mid to lower level population is a bit sparse, but that's because S-E made Lv.55 to merit so fast and attractive now for most people. (Most servers are probably in the same situation.)

The number of FFXI palyers has been pretty stable for the last year or two, hanging on tenaciously to the half a million mark, and it's unlikely Ifrit would be an exception to that trend.

I second that ... I still owe you a Linkshell Jrg, I haven't forgotten. I never see you online. And our ls is recruiting, so I'll be glad to hook you both up.

On hiatus though, until I've finished all of my assignments and the dance show this weekend. WHY, OH WHY did everything have to happen in the span of four days? WHY!?!?!?! Stress ... it's killing me ... so thus, no FFXI for a few more days.

Actually taking just a quick break from AutoCAD. My eyes are starting to hurt. >.<

Does anyone know of a linkshell in Siren that is recruiting? I have also just returned to the game (as a White Mage, again), and it would be great to find a friendly linkshell ^.^

To the ones that are coming back to the game. What server did you join? I just reinstalled the game and spend two days trying to get the updates. I started to create a player and seen that you can now choose what server you what. I am hoping to get on a server were there are lower levels since I was a dumb *** and sold my last account.
