Want to Return, Having Problems

heye everyone

i played ffxi about four months ago and didnt really get into it cause i did not have a lot of time but today i decided to take it out and start playing again. Now when i last stopped playing i uninstalled playonline and all that from my computer and cancelled everything etc. And it has been longer than three months so everything is gone.

When i popped in the dvd (i have the older vana'diel collection) i went through the playonline registartion and it wouldnt take my code. Says it was invalid. So i used the old buddy pass codes to register for playonline and just ffxi, no xpans.

What i was wondering was if i need to go buy the game again to start playing again because i already used all the codes last time. Im assuming you can only use the codes once but just want confirmation on the whole situation from someone who knows for sure.

The length of time before deletion was extended some time ago from 3 months to 1 year. Try re-using your old POL login info, if you still have it.

If you don't, or for some reason it doesn't work, yes, you will have to re-purchase the game as the codes are only good for one registration.

The only thing that gets canceled are your content ID's (Characters and Tetra master). You can still use your old POL account data. The reason the codes don't work are because they are already registered under your old account. So if you can't remember your old account details, you're going to have to go out and buy the game all over again I'm afraid. (Unless there's some magic way to get new codes, I'm really not sure)

Actually, POL Accounts are a free service, you don't have to actually play FFXI or TetraMaster (or Front Mission Online in Japan ; ;, I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!) to log into PoL
