Reactivation fee?

Ok, last time that I reactivated me account on FFXI, my bill had TWO billings from Square Enix of $12.99. Was that an error or do they REALLY charge you for hooking back up with them?

There are no reactivation fees. So either they charged you for back fees and the next month, or they charged you for the current and next months. Or something.

Whenever you reactivate during a month they will charge you for that entire month. So if you reactivated on the 10th then the next month you will get two bills of 12.99. One for the previous month and one for the next month.

S-E does not charge fees till the 1st of the month. So if you reactivated the 10th they will not bill you till the 1st.

Oh ok, so then say I reactivate today (for example), on my bill that I receive on the 4th or whenever of next month, it will have THIS month's fee, and then the FOLLOWING month's fee as well since they charge you at the beginning rather than at the end correct?

So last time I got billed for that month and the previous one eh... hmm, makes sense I suppose. I always found it akward that they had a reactivation fee when I guess they really don't. So when I reactivate my POL account, I won't be charged anything. But when I reactivate my FFXI account and main character (I think he'll be deleted by now, not sure, I quit back in March'ish) that is what/when I'll be billed for, correct?

You can't reactivate a POL account. You're never supposed to cancel it. It's free, so there is no reason to. If you have actually cancelled your POL account, then you'll have to buy a new copy of the game.

Hmmm for some reason my POL account was disabled and it said I had 3 months to reactivate it. Since it's free, I went ahead and did that. Now for the FFXI consideration. . .
