Because Recluse sounds cooler than social outcast?

Re: Dune Widow
Not by much.

Recluse is a spider. Outcast is an incredibly popular band.

Re: Dune Widow
I also want to try my hand at Ose. I generally don't have a problem with NMs, as long as I know the "shortcut".

Mysticmaker is on a 2.5ish hour repop, Valk Emp only has one PH among a group of 4 that repops every 5 minutes, etc.

Those mobs I have no problem camping.

Ose has one placeholder as well, out of the group of Torama's, he's popped from the Torama that doesn't pop in the same place all the time.

My friend (Career BST) didn't believe me, but he knew exactly which torama I was talking about, so after we killed it once, Ose popped, and now he's sold on the concept.

Any other NMs we can discuss? I hate blindly killing mobs. It's a waste of time, you might miss the NM, and you have no control over knowing the time it's gonna show up.

Re: Dune Widow
And 20 stacks isn't a lot. I can get 2 - 2.5 stacks per night-cycle. Farming the bats isn't that bad, even with competition. By the time daytime comes around and I sell them to the NPC and I return to town or go afk to watch TV, scratch my ass or make a sandwhich (sometimes not in that order) it's 1800 and the pops start.

And unless I'm mistaken, I've definitely seen some as early as 1600.

Fixed.

And some comment about WM3K thinking a Spider Torque will make him not gimp that I'm too lazy to properly word.

Re: Dune Widow
DW stinks to camp, and not because of competition, it's because its a stupid NM. Ive been lucky the times I have killed it as it was just up wandering around (all 4 times ive killed it, 2/4 on drop too boot.) The 4 hour repop sucks, however a nice little way to run the timer on it I suppose would be to camp centurio, for two, two hour sessions, then go back and check on DW. Chances are if it wasn't killed it will be first in line.

As for bats in the sanctuary, if you farm in the circle just northish of the OP, I know that the first set pop at 16:00ish nearest to the OP. Then pop in order clockwise around the circle. 1 at front 1 down the left side, 2 at the back corner on the log, 1 in the top, 2-3 in the right top corner, 0-1 on the right side (comming back to start) 2 in the lower right corner. There is a total of 10 aund the circle that repop in order everytime you go around. Sometimes a 2nd will pop at the front if someone is killing them near the OP. Also if your incredibly roomy in inventory, Killing leches is a nice way to pass the daytime away, the blood they drop is decent in sale value.

(the sanctuary is much better than the DW for gil, you can easily get 100K+ for 6 hours of work.)

Haha, sorry I had to. One of my LSmates used a Spider Torque for the longest time and I always ribbed him about it. While it's not the hugest difference in the world, if other priorities are met first(HQ Staves) and you're already going to take time out of your schedule to farm for a Spider Torque, you may as well just keep farming until you have an Enfeebling.

And I am also 0/infinity on DW, as others have stated regardless of what you go with camping it is not the route to take.

Re: Dune Widow
0/30+ on this mob. /rng is wonderful for this, though you can usually see where it spawns (still, it can be easy to miss). I bought the torque with the gil I got from selling the webs this NM drops.

Re: Dune Widow
I agree I flippen hate camping NM's however the mistic NM was alittle jerk. I went 1/13 on it. I just killed it and would to to bibiky to pop Intulo then run back to be there for the 2hr15min timer elapsed. that was a great method. or I just log after killing mystic. DW NM has a rediculas pop timer I just said screw that NM. however Centrino I camped and went 1/4 on him. the last time I camped him a 75 RDM beat my Dia pull by milliseconds. and was stupid about fighting it. Got cocky and linked the PL, and WAR Ants. lol Jamming wave went off has he was typing lol's and boasting about beating me. well letme tell you that Centrino and the 2 other Ants can devoure 1 75RDM with utter easy. he screamed out "Help me out" and me and my other 2 friend watch and returned the lol's and watched him fall like a stone. We got my Cloak and they got there Stonega3 in one drop. I bet that RDM wont be a ass again. revenge was sweet!! thanks to Quicksand Ants.they just keep giveing and giveing
