Coinspinner is a BLM75 and SCH52(+?). He knows a thing or two about nuking, I assure you, and he has been researching RDM for a bit.

RDM75/SCH37 and SCH75/BLM37 have identical base Elemental Magic skills (on Dark Arts), identical Magic Attack Bonus, and identical tier three nukes.

Oh, and his point was that RDM's best nuking option isn't /BLM, it's /SCH, and that RDM/SCH is as good at nuking as SCH. Since the community currently accepts SCH as a nuker, there's no reason why RDM can't be one, either. (He never implied anywhere RDM can be as good as BLM or anything like that, if that's what you're thinking--he definitely would know the difference.)
