| Re: RDM lvl 50 -- why do I need elemental staffs?
There are times that I have Cure macros set to a particular person, but I'm personally amazed that you have one fore all your cures/haste/refresh and such. How do you manage all your macros? Please don't take that as a negative remark, macros are just something that works for you. Personally I like to have every spell I'll need on one sheet, thus why I use <t> or <stpc>. Of course if you're more comfortable changing sheets thats up to you. I find myself between 2 75 jobs and level several other jobs I just don't have the room for all my macros. Glad that the information about staves in the posts was helpful though. |

At lower levels (before you get so many spells) player macros are quite nice if you are main healing. But yeah unless you are good at swaping macro pallets there's no way you can keep using that for long.

Well so far my highest job is my 50/25 RDM/WHM. Which is somewhat pathetic considering i been playing off and on over last 4 years. I do however spend alot of time helping others. As for the Macros I find it rather easy for me to switch sheets and for the most part I only have 6 sheets completely filled and it sufices for all my RDM /WHM / BLM jobs. I rarely have difficulty switching macros and it works for me. I may wind up filling up some more sheets for equip macro but I dont see, at least in the near future any need to change it. I plan to run all the mage jobs to 75 before i get to into the melee jobs anyway. yes the elemental staff and equipment macro info was very helpful ty all ------------------------------------------ Just if you wondering here is a rundown of my macro sets Crtl1 Dia II / Bio / Poision II/ Blind / Slow/ Paralyse/Gravity/Silence/Dispel/Sleep II Alt1 CureMe/CureP1/CureP2/CureP3/CureP4/CureP5/Curaga/Protectra&Shellra/Protect/Shell Crtl2 Stone/Water/Aero/Fire/Blizzard/Thunder/Drain/Shock/ (empty)/(empty) Alt2 Cure2Me/Cure2P1/Cure2P2/Cure2P3/Cure2P4/Cure2P5/Stoneskin/Phlanax/Protect II/Shell II Crtl3 Stone II/Water II/Aero II / Fire II/ (empty)/(empty)/ (empty)/(empty)/(empty)/(empty) Alt 3 Cure3Me/ Cure3P1/Cure3P2/Cure3P3/Cure3P4/Cure3P5/(empty)/(empty)/(empty)/(empty) Crtl4 HasteMe/HasteP1/Hastep2/HasteP3/HasteP4/HasteP5/(empty)/(empty)/(empty)/(empty) Alt4 Cure4Me/Cure4P1/Cure4P2/Cure4P3/Cure4P4/Cure4P5/(empty)/(empty)/(empty)/(empty) Crtl 5 RegenMe/RegenP1/RegenP2/RegenP3/RegenP4/RegenP5/(empty)/(empty)/(empty)/(empty) Alt 5 RefreshMe/RefreshP1/RefreshP2/RefreshP3/RefreshP4/RefreshP5/(empty)/(empty)/(empty)/Convert and then after this got other random macros I use for BSt SMN and I have a pull macro and a provoke macro As I said i don't know how it is for everyone else but I love using my macros like this. I find it easy to use and switching pages is like second nature to me now. Last edited by Dahc; 10-29-2007 at 11:28 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

You're a braver person than I am. As others have mentioned, how you use your macros is up to you, but using <t> instead and just usinf F1-6 suffices for me :p
