My sword skill is finally 240 ^^)V and now I m working on dagger with steelshell =P. Just keep on wondering on the next step, I will need to fight EP to rid the latent effects of trial weapons. In view of the task ahead and the estimated hours need to do so, I would like to get decent drops from the mobs I pick on =D, in my mind, I have: (a) Robber Crabs (lvl 61-63) in Kuftal Tunnel (drops are crappy =( ) (b) Killing & Hellish Weapon (lvl 59-63) in Fei'yin (Hellish drops Re-raise II, rare item =P ) (c) Sand Lizard (lvl 61-64) in Kuftal Tunnel (drop skins ^^ ) (d) Crawler Hunter (lvl 60-62) in Crawlers' Nest (non stackable drop =( ) (e) Knight Crawler (lvl 60-63) in Crawlers' Nest (silk thread ^^ , lovely) (f) Bark Spider (lvl 60-63) in Boyahda Tree (lovely Spider Web ^^)V ) (g) Uleguerand Tiger (lvl 60-63) in Uleguerand Range (whoa, tiger fang, <can I have this?> ) (h) Tonberry Shadower, Chopper & Jinxer (lvl 61-63) in Yhoator Jungle (need Prelate key, but tonberry hate building up is always a concern =P ) Do you have any other suggestions for solo and party play to rid the latent effects. Thanks a bunch in advance m(-_-)m

If you want good drops, try our regular farming spots in ZV ^^ They are easy for 74, so I guess you shouldn't have problem as 73. Also coffer mobs in OZ/Davoi should be soloable at 73. I personally joined skill up PTs and as some other people to open distortion for me. I got my latent off pretty quick this way. Coffer key PTs, sky skill ups, boyada, all good place. Also, the fellowship PT should be able to get it too.

Thx a bunch, Jei. I hesitate to add Castle O, Davoi, Castle Z and Beadeaux coffer mobs because I have under-leveled /thf or /nin, but I think I can try /blm out there, especially Castle Z farming spots ^^)b, it may not be that effective, but doing WS is the prime objective.

soloing them is the best way i find, it caps your shield+parry out, even if its not a very high rating for rdm, you will be suprised how much better you will preform with both maxed. i killed mostly beetles, skelly, pots in garliage as it was very close to jeuno. i hate travelling far

I've helped 3 different LS members knock off their latent on their trials weapon. A few of them I've helped them do multiple weapons. But we always end up in Crawler's Nest doing Helm beetles, or on Weapons in the Citadel. Helping a PLD do her Staff Trials in the Citadel I got my key for my RDM AF. ^^

Thank you all for your kindly response and sharing of experience, I appreciate them all. Indeed Crawlers Nest and Citadel are good spots as they are close to Jeuno.

Does dual wielding help? If so does the sapara of trials have to be main or sub?

Werebats in the basement of Sandy (can't spell the name). They are about the easiest EP mobs you will find in the game. Also good for lvling npc on.
