A friend and I were bored yesterday so we decided to both jump on our lvl 10 RNGs and do some shooting. All was going well until we ran into a T gob in King Ranperre's Tomb. We set up a strategy to trap him in between us and fire back and forth from midrange. This worked pretty well but then after awhile we started missing and I got Bomb Toss to the face so we both died lol. Ended up meeting back up in La Theine and getting our level up to 11.

Anyways, we are only level 11 so we don't have many options for ranged accuracy. Jack'o Lanterns are listed as having +Ranged Accuracy on them but it is undetermined if it is actually true (according to ffxiclopedia). Has anybody used one and noticed a difference? I think Marinara Pizza offers some as well but I could be wrong.

I used them when leveling in the dunes. Hardly missed.

FFXIGEAR.com thats the gear I have. I also have a Light Crossbow +1 and some blind bolts. FFXIGear ranks Jackolanterns at 10% whereas ffxiclopedia has it as 10 points which is a 5 point difference in Accuracy & Ranged Accuracy.

Archery is capped up to 101 from when I leveled SAM.
Marksmanship is capped up to 91 from the other day when I went out skilling up.

Keep in mind that at that level, you have practically no access to ranged accuracy gear at all, so you're going to be missing more than higher levels. I don't know which it gives on the jack-o-lantern, but I remember that I used it until I could use sushi.

Yeah, that's true. It was kinda fun getting back out there on RNG though, before I got back to leveling THF I hadn't used a ranged weapon since SAM. I might try to get him to static with me today.
