What would most Ranger think of :

Qiqirn Collar :
Ranged Attack + 8 Ranged Accuracy + 4
Attack - 4 Accuracy - 4

Would you use this or Chivalrous Chain as for Weaponskill ?
( Considering {Sea} Torgue and Gorget are not yet available. )
I read some post before that at certain point of time, ranged attack are more important when it comes to HNM as their def requires stronger attack to be punched through.

I no longer use Qiqirn Collar just for the fact it hurts my COR's accuracy and Attack on melee, so for RNG I just stick to the Ranger Necklace for general purpose shooting. Aside from Sea Torques, you're really only going to see a marginal improvement on the neck slot no matter what you go with.

If you want to use Chivalrous Chain for the STR, that's fine, but Ranger's Necklace is still ok, too. Qiqirn Collar is just paying a wasteful amount of gil for a marginal boost over Ranger's Necklace, so I don't see it as worth it. Save the gil for another slot.

If you want the best in terms of ranged attack, go qiqirn collar. If you need more ranged acc though (depending on your setup), you might consider PCC, though with food and the right gear, you shouldn't have to worry about that.

QQ Collar won't see a sizeable increase over Ranger's Necklace compared to other things you could get for the same amount of gil. As far as Chiv Chain for WS, I personally would not, RNG has enough natural RAcc to give it up in several slots for TP, but SlugWinder is a whole other beast.

Get the Q collar. Only other neckpiece better than that is the Hope Torque (as long as you are using Bow).

Qiqirn collar and Faith Torque (unless you're using obow+holy bolt) is a minimal improvement from ranger's necklace. Hope is a different story though.

I personally think that adding up the ratt in little bits here and there is a good thing. I assume that for the most part after level 70, you're accuracy should be at the level you need to start using food and playing with ratt more. At least, that's where I'm at. When I fight Gods or stuff with high evade, I switch to accuracy setup like everyone else. However, even camping IT statutes in sky to get DIO I was using couerl subs and ratt gear with like a behemoth ring and dusk trousers and hitting superb. I didn't need sushi or more racc gear on IT mobs.

I use Qiqirn Collar, but it runs 400k on my server Gilgamesh. I had to trade in my Dusk Gloves off my THF to get it. and I sure miss them..... ; ;
