WS factors

Hi there,

Just 2 quick questions, does Ranged Attack affect Weaponskills's damage? I've been trying to balance out the gear for my Ranger without sacrificing both.
10/03/2008 06:43 pm - I just found out that Ranged Attack does affect your weapon skill damage : ARE BASED ON YOUR RATK VS TARGET DEF FIRST
If its a yes, will the case be that a ranger normal attack is lowered if i use more STR and AGI gear stats by switching out Ranged Attack gear, but have a significant boost to WS dmg? ( Sidewinder )

Or :

A better well rounded attack and usual WS dmg by maintaining Ranged Attack > STR/AGI gear.

I understand that every ws and shot is vital to a ranger, and thus range accuracy plays an important role for our damage output, but given a choice, will STR/AGI be preferred over Range Accuracy? E.g ( Behemoth's Ring) > ( Garroulous Ring) aka (during WS). I know macroing solve the problem here, but i am just curious as i want to try maximising my normal dmg output as well. If possible, i wouldn't have to carry that many ring in my inv. ( 5 rings including emp )

I'm a noob level 75 ranger if you need to know the level.
