Galliard Trousers: - HP +20
- Strength +2
- Dexterity -2
- Vitality +2

- Intelligence -2
- Mind -2
- Charisma -2
- Accuracy +5
- Ranged Accuracy +5
I think I'll take these over the Dusk for both jobs. -2 AGI, but my COR will have full QD Accuracy Merits. Not like that -2 AGI would kill a Mithra anyway.

Yeah, I know I could macro them out, but already do it for so many other things right now. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 01-30-2007, 12:59 AM | #34 (permalink) | | Senior Member Brain of Knowledge Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,009 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 11 Thanked 14x in 8 Posts Gil: 10,235 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 10,235 Donate | Re: Merits and Att/STR build I guess you could go for Galliard over Pahluwan. Pahluwan are definitely superior in every DD aspect (no -AGI, same net +ACC and +RACC, more +STR) but if it's easier for you to kill Kurrea than do Assaults, that's probably the way to go. Got Ashu Talif #3 flagged now, too, so I can hopefully rid myself of that pesky +6% Slow on Deadeye Gloves. I hear the Barbossa Gloves are pretty common when you play the assault right, its the pants that are harder to get.
My friends get pretty slack on Assaults, so I gotta find a new group for Pahluwhan stuff :/ | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-18-2007, 11:36 AM | #37 (permalink) | The BBQ Kitten Revolution FFXIWiki Team Join Date: May 2006 Location: Windurst Posts: 4,899 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 170 Thanked 1,429x in 789 Posts Gil: 18,020 Bank: 51,018 Total Gil: 69,038 Donate | Re: Merits and Att/STR build Sky progress is slow, but steady. Dynamis plans are on hold.
Hands: Upgraded to Sieryu's Kote and Crimson Finger Gauntlets.
Neck: Gave up PCC for Qiqirn Collar
Feet: Got Suzaku's Sune-Ate and Crimson Greaves, RSE1 feet too. Getting around to RSE2, which will be nice for my BLU anyway.
Body: Recently set aside AF body for Paluwhan
Legs: Spare change from PCC for Dusk Trousers
Rings are starting to become an issue. I can't seem to justfify swapping out Behemoth Rings for STR Rings on gods. I'm nearly done with CoPs , I'm certainly getting Raja's Ring, but its probably the only STR ring I'd use.
Waist has been all kinds of stuff, but getting around to a Jungle Sash whenever it pops in AH.
I've started doing limbus and been mulling over the options. AF+1 Hands look really nice. Seems like Brutal would go nicely with Raja's for Store TP, and seems OK for COR when the extra attack effect doesn't proc on Joyeuse. Loquacious definately for COR/Mage.
Gunner's Mantle seems cool, but I'm questioning how much more effective it is than Anemet Mantle +1. Jaeger Mantle is less of a question to me, for supremely annoying shit like THF and NIN mobs, I'll want it. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
