I'm somewhat still in the process of rebuilding my BRD - its hard to rebuild anything else when you EXP RNG and COR back-to-back - but for what I have now, I can push Minuet x2 between 104 and 112 attack. With other gear I could probably eek out a few more points.

Most skills for BRD cap at 72, if I recall correctly. But basically, Minuet x2 will let a RNG that was doing 800 sidewinders before to do 1200 sidewinders after, so we're talking nearly a 33% increase in attack, give or take. And if you factor in 70+ RNG/WAR with Berzerk and Warcry, yikes, even more.

But really, even long before 70, those preludes are frivelous to RNG, if we really need accuracy that badly in EXP, we can pick up a stack of sushi for 10k. And at this point, I really doubt I need even that.

Some JPs talked my PT in Caedarva Mire into helping them with a quest NM. Turns out it was Lamia No. 24 and her Qutrub friend.

When I barraged the qutrub after Zerking - 3227 damage o.O

I blinked and went scrolled back up the log since No. 24 sleepga-ed us.

3227 damage.

Qutrubs are going to be my merit friends.

Selling some of my luxury Rdm gear to fund Rng right now... Including my enhancing sword which has been sitting in my mog house forever -.-

Fist stage lv1 SC can have max damage as high as 50% of the closing WS damage
2115 /2 = 1057.5 = 1057

Xp'ing on dahlmels in Bibiki the other day. Sidewindered for 1995 and was still in melee range.
Lvl 67, NIN sub, S-bow, coeurl sub, Minuet IV and Prelude.

I know, just never actually seen an "unresisted" Lv.1 Skillchain. I've closed a Lv.1 Skillchain for 1500+ before and then saw a 100dmg Scission afterwards. Just never seen it done myself. Was almost convinced it there wasn't such a thing as an unresisted Lv.1 Skillchain effect.

I got from 60-62 the last couple days. I still don't have Hunter's Jerkin, but my accuracy was still fantastic. At one point, I ate sole sushi and did not miss a single slugwinder for the entire hour, even when there were a couple times I had only ~105% tp. This was while wearing Shikaree Aketon and using a Crossbowman's ring instead of a Scorpion ring, and with Selene's Bow at about half moon.

And even though I was disappointed at the thought of meleeing again, it is awesome being able to WS every fight. My dagger was over 50 levels below the cap, but I still had decent accuracy (and at times, I had sushi+madrigal), and double attack kicked in regularly. I only wish I had my Fransisca already, in which case I would get 63 tonight.

Oh, and puks are annoying as hell. Flash and blink are not fun, especially right before you Barrage or WS.

Amen to that! Bastards doing that knock back which is annoying, but they always put up Blink when I decide Absorb-TP, Guillotine, or start the Skillchain. Drives me nuts.

My static started to avoid them all together, but found it hard to build a party in non-ToAU areas.

I think my favorite epeen place to go is mire w/ brd. dual minuets + meat + new moon phase = :D

with /nin I was popping ~1400-1500 sidewinders. I have yet to go /war which is what I am going to do next. I wonder how high I can push everything with zerk and warcry up. 2000+?

Got 2112 on Lamia Idolators in Mire at 74 last night. And I was with a totally pimped on RNG by the name of Zolo, who closed my SC for 3k+ and usually leading to an unresisted Reverberation for 3k as well. This guy had everything too, sky gear, HQ STR build and even Kyudogi.

But then he was also using Hellfire+1 and Silvers while I opted for O Bow and Selene and acid bolts played a bit in that for both of us. Minuet x2 on both of us, too. He ate Red Curry, I had Yellow.

The last PT I had I was /WAR and its was all out TP Burn with no one else in Mire, Turned in to a contest with me versus a SAM/RNG. I'm now wanting to level a SAM sub, lol, you can spam some slugwinders with SAM/RNG, so RNG/SAM must be able enjoy that to some extent. Think my best there at the time was 1900-2100 fully zerked with Warcry and Minuet x2. the SAM averaged about 1500 on Sidewinder, only got to 1900 once in the PT. Still he was competing well. Dinged 75 there and was happy I got to do it as RNG/WAR.

I'm still working out my STR/ATT build. Currently just a Wyvern Helm and Ruby Rings so far (will work on HQ later). Loving the hell out of RNG/WAR at this level, though for Lamia Idolators /NIN is an absolute must because they're very weak to piercing and when you break 2k, not even a PLD can save you, only Utsusemi can :x

After more than 2 hours of waiting and a lot of deaths when he spawned, I got my Fransisca last night. Everyone in my group, save me, fell to Aquarius, mostly because we were all half asleep, but a couple of lvl 75s were running by and engaged him, then invited me. It was sad to see SBow+Demon arrows do 30 dmg a shot, but I got it. I was also able to ding 63 tonight, so I got to try it out. And surprisingly, 121 axe skill just doesn't cut it in the thickets. Strange.

I also crapped my pants at how much a brd + Soul Voice rocks. Over the course of a pt as 62 rng, the brd and I started talking about my damage, and when we decided on last boss, told me to get my berserk ready. Berserk + Sis kebabi + SBow at 10% moon + 2x SV Minuets = 2158 Sidewinder on an IT colibri. First ever 2k+ dmg for me. It was also nice having a bard that always did 2x minuet; when I finally ate meat, my regular shots were at times better than the samurai's Yukikaze. Damn I love this job. (unless I have a nin tank...)
