On this particular night there were already 4 parties in Onzozo, so this was our second choice of camp spots. We were doing raptors when the perytons ran out. Avg. exp/hour was 3718, and we did have about 10-15 minutes of downtime when a nearby party made a nice big train. I'm not sure if that is considered "great exp" or not. I'm in a static of: rng/nin, mnk/war, pld/war, rdm/whm, whm/blm(or smn), and we pick up one extra. We try to get a rng, blm or brd as our sixth. I don't usually wait for 150 tp for slug shot, I go as soon as my SC partner and I are both ready.

theres a good camp right at the peack of those mountains you have to go around to get to the north entrence of the valley.


I was there at 63 and they still gave great xp, so they might be kinda hard to hit at 61 dont remember having trouble, but only faught em once at 61.


but then again i bought an ebow last night and switched to that (got tired of gimpy 700 dmg WSs) and my archery was capped for a level 58 character not 63, i capped it pretty easily and never really had too much trouble hitting sidewinder with sushi.....

jesus dunno if ebow gets better as you level up, but god dam this bow is amazing


so im assuming a level 61 character should

E-bow is 9-10 mil on Fenrir, and seldom at AH since the new fees got implemented. No thanks. ^^ When I get high enough to camp it, I'll try for it. Last night at 62 we went to Boyadha and did processionaires. Great exp, and they seemed easier than perytons or toramas although the whm was stressing out at first. I think, unless it's heavily camped, we'll be there for a while.

those crawlers are decent xp....BUT

the skimmers and steelshells are amaaaaazing xp at 61 if you can get enough DDs to take em down effiently..

oh and finding a safe camp to fight those is sort of a problem as well as elementals and goobues spawn everywhere.

but its worth the risk for the xp IMO and you may find a nice person to give you a fransisca (exactly how i got mine someone actually sent me a tell so i could lot on it as i guess i was the only rng there at that time who needed it.)

on the subject of ebow, i can only say one thing...

if you pay for this bow, doesnt matter if you have ummm err say 5.6 mill left over after the purchase, NO ONE save your friends will congrats you.


i didnt tell one single person i bought an ebow, not even my friends, and i got a million tells and says saying

"you idiot you just wasted 8 mil gil"

and a couple of these

"jesus god and you couldnt loan me 200k dam youra fning greedy bastard like IRT" irt = someone else who paid for the bow and striders and a charm and told me i'd get slack but i didnt believe him.


over rated, overpriced, or w/e other excuse people reason for not seeing purchasing an ebow as a good thing means nothing to me..

its the best possible weapon i can equip atm and im no where near broke so i dont see what the big deal is in buying this bow.

Do not worry. You can do your job perfectly without those laxuries. You don't always have to buy HQ/+1 gears. Noone complain about that even if you don't own those. Just keep in mind that you always update your gears available at your level and spend your money on best ammos and foods available.

It is true that equipment determines one's ability but what's more important is your knowledge to make the best use of RNG's firepower. Also, it is usually a good PT configuration and tactics that detemine how much XP you get. You're not soloing in XP PT.

To me, farming for gills is a part of my RNG's life (although it is my RDM75 that makes money and earns beastman/kindred seals) and I like to spend my time on farming. There's no need to hurry up leveling my RNG.

Well, DO NOT buy gills from gill-sellers anyway.

im a rng that used all three weapons, bow, xbow and gun.

i have to say that acid bolts helps a lot, regular shot xbow can keep up with gun if your using acid bolts as well, however when it comes to WS gun will outdamage xbow by a lot.

nice gear is just for status whores like myself, it really doesnt inprove your character as much as the work you put in to get those gears would imply.

Well @72 im still using Boiled Cockatrice.
i dont feel the need for squid sushi as i do not miss that often, probably 3 slugshots at max per a 3 hour run.

As for trailer kukris, i prefer hawkers for the +agi.

Acid Bolts help out alot.. stacked with drk abs vit, dia2 and dispelling the mob if they have protect = atleast 50 dmg boost depending on ur ammo.

But i always prefer using my hellfire+silver bullets cant be outdamaged.

slugshot barrage (gives back full 100% tp) slugshot in under 10 seconds <fun> ^^ also <death> haha
