Man this is driving me crazy >< . Fought Maat 2 times today bringing my total up to 4 ( got a 5th testimony tonight but no silver bullets on ah) .1st time wasnt really sure what to do I heard basic plans but of course didnt work out . 2nd time owned again . So I decided to catch up on some much needed marksmanship lvling and gained 140 lvls in two days ( yes I didnt take care of my marksmanship at all) . So I go in for try number 3 and barrage totally wiffed , so of course dead . 4th time I brought a earth staff just in case ( mind you i also have opt hat) . I go in use sleep potions till 100 tp , run in and immediatly use EES on Maat which he returns fire . I bind and run out of the arena to heal . I personally use a Vile elixer and Vile Elixer +1 . My mistake was wear I took off my staff and lost my 100 tp from potions ( didnt noticed it till it was time to use it ) . So I barraged > slug shot and use icarus wing praying to get one more slug shot in before I get toasted . Well he killed me 1 sec before slug shot went off >< . Hopefully tomorrow there will be some bullets on AH so I can give this another try . man I am so ready to get 1 xp for my lv .

That sucks. I did it a couple days ago at 67. My strategy was EES. Regular Shot PRAYING for Acid Bolt to take hold(it didnt). Shadowbind and heal. Switch to Gun and barrage with silver bullets and slug > icarus > slug. Guess its just luck as this was my first time fighting Maat. I don't know if Acid Bolt can land but if it doesn perhaps you can try that route.

get marksman up to date. Essential if you don't have an E-bow + kabura arrows or extrodinary luck. If your barrage does shitty damage, you can eat an icryus wing as a last resort.

What I did was this...

Hellfire + Silver bullets. Lvl 70 equipment, including War brais +1, war boot, and AF gloves.

Fought him on windsday.

Items:

Opo opo necklace
6 sleeping pots (extra in case)
5-6 Hi-pot
1x Vile Eixer
Icryus Wing

1) Opo opo necklace to 100 TP
2) SWITCH NECKLACE!!! (i frogot to do this but i won anyways)
3) Go to him, enable Sharpshoot/Barrage
4) Sidewinder, he should EES you. If heavy damage, goto 5a). If not, go 5b)

5a) Bind him, run, Chug a few hi-potions. He should lose bind now. Now you barrage.
5b) Barrage, then bind. chug pots.

6) Use EES
7) Sidewinder again... Victory here!!
8) If no victory at #7... Eat an icryus wing and vile elixer
9) Sidewinder. If no victory here.... shoot him and hope you crit him, or he drops dead from broken hip or something.

Eh, whats the big deal with guns? I used my bow (warbow+1) Did the opopo necklace tp gain
Sidewinder>Shadowbind>Eat Potions>Barrage>Eagle Eye Shot>Sidewinder

Well I went back to fight Maat yesterday morning when there were more silver bullets up for sale . Went in 5 sleep potions ( 125 tp) . Ran in wearing earth staff and we EES each other , shadowbound , ran out vile elixer 2 xpotions . Readied Barrage & Sharpshot > Slug shot > regular shot > Slug shot > owned him . I did have to use a vile elixer +1 after my barrage shot hit . I did all this wearing earth staff on waters day . Time was 5:15 .
