WS + Added Effect Ammo?

Quick question: Will my ammo's added effect be triggered when I use a WS? I know the answer is probably going to be "no," but I really want to know, because I'm trying to find a way for my girlfriend to close a skillchain with SATA + WS while she and I duo or just plain fool around. If the added effect does go off, while I'm WAR/RNG I could do Split Shot with Sleep Bolts (we're only level 30 so no Sleep Arrows for me yet) and while the monster sleeps I could position myself behind the mob for her SATA Fast Blade/Viper Bite. If not, I guess I could have her start a ranged attack with the Sleep Bolts just before my WS, and pray the Sleep Bolt hits shortly afterwards. Thanks in advance.

Nope. Won't work with WS, or barrage.

Didn't think so. Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to tell her to use /ra with a Crossbow + Sleep Bolt one to two seconds before I start the skillchain, so that her shot'll land right after my Piercing Arrow. Of course, wether we succeed or not depends on both my WS and her Sleep Bolt landing, but we both have +Ranged Accuracy stuff to swap to, and if it's just the two of us we shouldn't be trying to skillchain anything higher than T >.>
