How long are Mage's Cuffs good for?
I was thinking of using Hume RSE gloves for a while, but I recently saw a 60+ Elvaan RNG using Mage's Cuffs, so that made me think about it. It's about 100k on my server (hairpin is 270k, leaping boots are 210k), so would you guys say it's worth it? I don't have that much gil to spare but I was really wondering if the 3 AGI would be better than 3 STR, 3 DEX, and 12 HP? I know most people say DEX is useless on RNGs, but I find the occassional criticals to be fairly nice (when there's a THF, otherwise, I'd be tanking).

But yeah, back to my original question. It seems like RNG AF gloves suck, so are Mage's Cuffs good for well beyond that?

Thanks in advance.

I think the RSE gloves are a better item for the hands, I do notice a minor increase in damage. (Shows up in barrages).

Mage cuffs are a better deal agi/cash wise than either leaping or hairpin, but like I say I think you're probably going to have enough agi as is that you won't really miss them.

Also depends on what server you play on and the availability of them. I think they go for 500k+ on midgardsormr, though I could be wrong. A lot of servers don't have many available so it's just not worth it.

It's an HQ of a 60 clothcraft item that requires something like 20 or 30 goldsmithing just to make the item. Velvet cloth, 2 peridot, wool cloth, and silver thread. X_x

I finally bought them (145k) because I was tired of pricing them every time I was at AH. Now I don't have to worry about gloves until Seiryu's. Yay me.

actually war gloves are better because it gives +acc for more melee accuracy = more tp.

That's what Accuracy traits are there for. =P I won't be giving up AGI for melee ACC anytime soon, though I do like the +evasion on War Gloves.

I've heard that mage cuffs are preffered over the AF gloves so you may use them for the rest of your career. That is if you have the money. They are going for something like 250k on kujata last time i checked, its not bad, but then again its alot of ammo and food.
