i know jujube on our server is 70+ so someone has to have passed it...

hey there

i recently passed genkai 5, all i can say rng genkai 5 is very easy.
i tried it once at lv66, but i failed there

at lv70 i pwnd maat while i had 300hp left

im not sure how it would have been for an taru rng.

first off i used an ikarus wing, get 100% tp.

then before i shot, i activated sharpshot+barrage.

Sidewinder>Barrage>here i had 50% hp left, so i used 2 Hi-Potions 1+,Eagle Eyeshot> had 120% tp here from the eagle eye and the barrage, > Ended with Sidewinder.

Maat pwnd

not bad as other classes, very simple. u just gota try it once, u will obviously fail the first time, the second time u learn how it works then u can pwn maat easiley

I had some help tho, since i play PLD, iv had some equipment from it. Earth staff, its 20% - Psy dmg removed, + The job specific earrings at lv70 wich gives 30% psy dmg removed latent effect.

im pretty sure it works without the earth staff =) so dont worry

Yes, RNG got it easy with Genkai5

(If you can use a gun, equip a gun with silver bullets)

1. Sub sam if you can (doesn't really matter), use your silent meditation ability and then enter BC.

2. Use sleep potions x 4 + opo necklace to get 100 TP. (I prefer saving Icarus Wing for emergency)

3. go up to him in WS firing range, engage, and use slugshot.

4. He will use eagle eye right at this moment, so use shadowbind.

5. Run away and use some high potions.

6. When your HP is at a reasonable level, activate barrage and shoot it.

7. If your TP is 100 or higher, use another slugshot. If not, use your eagle eye.

8. Maat should give up about now, if you missed a slug shot and/or eagle eye/barrage, now use your icarus wing and fire another shot.

Maat was frickin' Hell for taru ranger with no sub.

I had little over 600 hp and his EES did 605-6 dmg. Basic tactic is shadowbind after initial attack and spam hi-potions. Pray he doesnt use asuran fist... but can kill him using only ws's, ja's, ees.

I did it the "safe" way.... I am a Mithra and don't have much HP or dmg.

Anyway, I beat Maat on the second try. Here's what I did:

Opo-Opo + 5 Sleep Potion for 125% TP >> Run in, Sidewinder >> Eagle Eye Shot just as Maat launches his own EES >> Shadowbind and run away to eat Potions (make sure you run FAR away to give you more time to use items. Since there's a cooldown time between potions, I ran a little after every drink). You should have ~20% TP right now from the EES >> Use Icarus Wing; Maat's Shadowbind should wear off by now >> Activate Barrage >> Sidewinder >> If Maat not defeated, shoot out the barrage and Sidewinder again (which is what it took for me: 3 Sidewinders, 1 Eagle Eye, 1 full Barrage)

Total Item: X-Potion X4 (I only used 2), Icarus Wing X1, Sleeping Potion X5

just a tip... stay AWAY from x-potions. they SUCK.
use hi-potions. they have no cool down time, and they work a lot lot quicker.

i did:
opo+sleep for 150%
sidewinder
>take maat's eagle eye
shadowbind
run away
hi-potionx6 (i think) for full HP
barrage
sharpshot
>maat becomes unbound
shoot
eagle eye shot
sidewinder

While its true you cant sub sam vs maat,if you trade the testimony immediately after using sielnt concentration,you will enter the bc with tp,but less than 60%,dont know if thats true,thats what i heard
