Current State of Ram Leather

This is mainly just a gripe ... and I understand the economics of supply and demand, but Drako is absolutely destroying the market for ram leather.

Today the going price for ram leather in San d'Oria is 10k. This is so depressing since most of the leather up is probably Drakos and I will not be able to move my 3 stacks for 12k. *sigh*

I remember when I first started down the path of leathercraft to make ram leather which was at that time 15-18k per stack. To have it drop to 10k now is insane especially since Drako *could* be selling it for 12k and it'd move just as well as it is at 10k.

I sent him a sarcastic /t Drako Thank you for destroying the ram leather market to which he replied "Drako>> np" No problem?!?! Arrrrrrrgh.

It's going to take a long time for the value to go back up, so I guess I'll try to make the best of the situation and level up leather since ram leather is now at a hell of a deal.

BTW, if anyone who speaks fluent japanese wants to try talking some sense into Drako and have him raise his prices at least to 12k all of us ram hunters would be appreciative.

This kind of thing only bothers me in Jeuno, mostly because then I'm forced to eat the huge tax taking my stacks down and putting them back up. D: It makes me /cry

Crystals are the worst. If the price drops 100g, you're screwed, and you'll end up PAYING to sell them. They should adjust that... but they won't. Anyway, no point complaining about Leather prices. Have you tried selling them in Bastok or Windurst instead?
