Small question.

I don't exactly understand the job/subjob system.

If a level a WAR/THF to 30/15 in their respect.

Then decide to go RNG/WAR Am I 1/15 or 1/1 because I've never levelle WAR was a subjob?

Your subjob is always 1/2 of your main level. So to answer your question your RNG/WAR would be 1/1. Then when you level up to say Level 4, you would be 4RNG/2WAR etc. So your sub job level will increase as you level, but never be over 1/2 of your main regardless.

It is true that it's going to always be half of your main, but only if you leveled that sub to a high enough level.

Let's say you leveld War to 10, and Thf to 3. your playing as a War/Thf your level will be 10/3. If your Thf was lv 8, your job combo would be 10/5 even though thief is 8.

So it will never go above half, but it can be lower. And only the job you have set as your main recieves experience. So as you level your main, your sub will eventually become underleveld (20/5) you'll then need to level that sub so that you can be 20/10.

Your Jobs retain their level when you switch to another. So if you get War to 30 and switch jobs to THF, your WAR will still be 30.

However, your subjob can only be as high as half of you main job. So if you a lvl1 THF, you war is only going to be lvl 1. But since it is actually level 30. As soon as you turn lvl 4 THF, your WAR will change to lvl 2. However if you sub MNK (which for the point of example is going to still be lvl 1) on THF and get THF to lvl 4, you MNK sub is still going to be lvl 1.
