Ok I have Talked to alot of ppl around Windurst and Bastok about Sub Jobs Im on LVL 17 and almost to lvl 18 I want to get a sub job but I dont Know what ....

I am a White Mage Right Now and want to Get a Sub... People around say WMG/BLM is Good One guy Said WMG/BRD = Ultimate Support Magician... I Saw Summoners and Though that was Cool, eeerrrr...:sweat: Well just Put it this way I need Advice before I get a Support, I want To BE GREAT...

Im really Considering the WMG/BRD....what do you Say?

Help ME!!!!

hello. Say true, no ppl will be WHM/BRD, at least in my server =)
the reason are,
1. you will not be free to sing song while being a healer
2. Bard lvl 25 has MP regen I song, and lvl 55 has MP regen 2 song, but the problem is, now the max lvl is 70, that means u can never use MP regen 2 if using a bard as sub job
3. without using instrument, u can only have 1 song effect (with instrument can have 2)
4. MP regen I is a bit meaningless, if your lvl is lvl 60+......i prefer u use summoner as a sub job for its auto MP regen JA and tones of MP

as a result....just my opinion, if your main job is WHM,
using BLM as SJ to increase the number of useful spell u can use, e.g. Escape, Sleep.......etc.
using Summoner as SJ to increase your MAX MP and get its MP regen.

Well sure whm/blm is good because of stats.
Your really easing it in fight with more mana and such.

But whatevr you do, never use Summon as a sub job o.O
Ofcourse you get much mp and for that possibly but you will never have any use for the summons as they would be to weak everywhere you go. And remember summons is for status attacks mostly. But be free yo use it as a main with whm as your sub.

Subbing brd is never a good idea. But some people think in the "follow your dreams rule" so if you REALLY wanted to become a brd sub, then go for it. But if you care about whats best for you, brd is never a good sub. You can't use flutes and you can only sing using your voice.

btw, some summoner pet buffs are good, just like earth and wind's skin buff, ice's dmg shield buff. But of course, the problem is, need lv 60+ to get those pets...really dunno why Square design like this = =;

Ok i can see that BRD and SUM arnt the best and BLM is Good, What Else is a Good Combo for Subs, My BLM is on LVL 7 and My Warrior is on LVL 8 and THF,RDM, and MNK are on lvl 3 each so should I get any Subs or Just Build a Kickass WMG? My WMG Has all the Current Spells like Cure1<Lvl1> - Banishga <Lvl17>. I need more Feedback I really Dont Mind You opinions I really want to make a Kick as Mage or Fighter>? Please give me some feedback!

you wont be able to get an advanced job (bard/summoner) until level 30 anyway, stick with the whm/blm combo for now.

Yeah I probably will use WMG/BLM but what about these combos are they good>

wgm/war <- Like a Pad kinda
wmg/thf <- TheivenHealer?
wmg/rdm <- Question this one alot aside of BLM they have lots of good support like barsleepra, barstona, ect. and useful magic like wmg
wmg/blm <- Probably my choice alot of offensive attacking and support magics.
wmg/mnk <- A Bairfisted Healer?

I also have the choice of getting
drk/pad/sam/brd/smn/drg later

Like i said Im not to Picky right now on what I get but Im asking what are the Better Combos for people out there to get a GREAT Warrior or Kick ass Magician or a Top of the Line Fighter...Give Me Feedback!!

:confused: [beta]NEO 18-30 isnt that far from each other and with a good group you can get up there in a couple days i have been in 3 groups since and went up in lvls,

grp1 = lvl 4 - lvl 10
grp2 = lvl10 - lvl 14
grp3 = lvl14 - lvl 17 [400 tnl] ( current)

and i have only played for about 3 week on this game...:p

Im just sayin getting a couple good groups i can go from lvl 18-lvl 30 in no time!!

you're reading the wrong part of my message, and if you notice, i've got 15 levels on you, i've partied people, and whm's best subclass that i've seem has been blm. the added mp really helps out, and if you want to be the best whm you can be, you need it.

I think WMG/BLM is a good combo also im just curious about those people i have seen that are drk/pad/sam/brd/smn/drg. They have small Sub Combo some of the im wonderin what the good high combos are as well as good low sub combos...

That way People can get a really Good Idea of what they should earn up dependin on what they want!!

Like this for Example>

WMG/BLM = Good Sub combo, MP Boost, and Multiple Magic Skills from Support to Offensive.

or

WAR/MNK = GREAT Fighter Hittin Jumps higher every LVL and Defence Increased More and More Each LVL, Can Attack About every thing tough!!

This is what Im askin People to post nothing More nothing Less You help by informing People of Good Combos Like WMG/BLM or BRD/SMN..

SUMMONER SUB for white mage is NOT bad...
my white mage uses smn as sub, i never have to call smn out for during fight... and when whm is high enough to call the smn's status effect abilities, it will be good. even main smn don't have smn out for fights....
