trouble getting to Whitgate

here's the problem:

i have a tenshodo membership and am talking to the guy, faursel i think his name is, and im trying to select the hidden third option. the only problem is that it wont let me select it. ive already asked several people, and i looked on FFXI wiki but it doesnt say anything about rank requirments or anything else. is there a button i need to press to select the hidden option or am i just to retarded to go to whitegate and unlock BLU.

IIRC, you just have to keep pressing down until you have a blank option to select. You did get a CS before he gave you options right?

When you say it won't let you select the hidden option, do you mean you can't get to that option in the list, or you can get to the option, but nothing happens when you actually select it, or what?

i did get a CS before he gave me the options of something like "Shopping," "Nothing," and what looked like a space for another option but i couldnt select it. tried to arrow down but nuttin happened, it just stayed on the second option. ill try again on lunch and tell ya how it goes.

Are you sure you have the ToAU expansion registered? (All expansions must be registered individually in addition to the main account.)

im using the xbox 2008 collection. do you know if that registers all of them or not?

Not automatically. If you didn't specifically register them, you're going to have to do so. It's under Content ID > Expanded Services from the FFXI menu (the one you get after accepting the warning about not letting the game ruin your life). I believe the 2008 collection has one code for everything (instead of one code for the game and then one for each expansion), so I'm not sure if you'll need to enter that code again (it works for all expansions if that's the case) or if it will just let you register them without entering it.

Edit: Ah, well, that's answered, but yes, you'll need to register them all.

I have the same pack that you do, Sykoticjestr and am also on Xbox. You do have to individually register ToAU and WotG, but the rest should come registered when you register FFXI. Not sure why those two specifically, but I know I had to.

Correct. If you've only got one code, that's the one you use for all of them.

That's honestly really handy to know... I thought it would only allow you to enter one code and then show that it stopped working.... if that's the case I wonder if you can use past codes (i.e. use the 2008 release on an older account to unlock expansions and use the code to start a new account for a friend minus the expansions you used) can you split the registration code between ID's?
