New WotG Quest - Knot Quite There

Found a new WotG quest that appears to be the continuation of the storyline you get when working for Windurst in the past.

Start by checking the door of the Acolyte's Hostel in Windurst Waters [s] - the room where Ajido-Marujido is.

After some cutscenes, you'll be assigned the task of making sure Koru-Moru and his escort reach Jeuno safely. Examine the gate leading to Jeuno in Sauromugue [s] for another cutscene. You don't have to fight the scorpion.

Then you are asked to get a 108 Knot Quipus... which is where I'm currently stuck. Probably that's a new item added this update; my guess is that it drops in Oztroja [s] the same way the other quipus drop in the present, but since the lowest level yagudo in Oztroja [s] are Tough to a 75, I'd have a very hard time trying to solo there and I'd prefer not to have to try it if it isn't actually necessary.

Has anyone seen a 108 Knot Quipus or know where they come from or how to get them?

Wiki now claims that the 108 Knot Quipus drops from Yagudo Inquisitors (and possibly others) "in the far easternmost area of Sauromugue Champaign (S) inside of the small forts". Haven't tried this out myself yet.
