Fame Questions

OK just a few questions I can't find anywhere else on the net.

1. Can you get fame in other nations other than the one you are in e.i, I am in Windhurst but could I go and do Quests (Small Ones) in Bastok and gain Fame or do I need to join Bastok?

2. If I change nation will I keep my fame in the previous nation? (Fame is different to rank I think)

Fame has nothing to do with allegiance, and yes, it is different from Rank. Doing quests for any given city will give you fame in that city, regardless of your home nation, regardless of your Rank, etc. etc. Fame does not decrease, ever (there's a rumor that raising Tenshodo/Norg fame lowers your fame for Jeuno or the three starting nations, but it's never been confirmed).

Look up the Millioncorn quest for getting multiple city fame for one easy and repeatable quest. Unfortunately, it will cost you some gil.

Got a fame Q here. Was wondering what the minimum fame lvls are to get the avatar tuning forks. I have lvl 9 fame in sandy and lvl 5 fame in Bastok, but my fame in Windy is 1. So far I have beaten Shiva and got fork for Garuda. I still can not get Tuning fork for Titan.

Also what are some good repeatable quest in windy to build fame there?

Mandragora Mad is the popular answer for repeatable Windy quests. Buy cornettes in Bastok when it's not in last place and trade them in.

I believe it's only level 2 fame required for the mini avatar fights, though Leviathan takes more.
