Having trouble activating BLU AF1 quest

I am a lvl 41 BLU who wanted to do the AF 1 quest. I talked to Waudo(I think thats how its spelled) and the 1st time I talked to him he gave me a cut-sceen with me in a cave. The next day after work I went to see if it was listed in my active quests for Aht U. and its not there. I talked to the NPC again and this time he asked me if I wanted to gaze into some type of tapistry.I agreed and he asked me a set of questions(the same questions as when I 1st un-locked BLU). At the end he said I had to wait 1 sun cycle(which I figured was 1 game day) and he charged me 1k gill. I waited the 1 cycle and talked with him again, and the same thing happened. My questions are:

1) will the quest show up as active on the list or is this 1 of those hidden quests which
doesn't show-up until you finish it?

2)if it is not active yet, what more do I have to do to activate it? I have done the immortal mission(Aht U.), and I have access to my mog locker(2 things which people have suggested that I make sure are done).


Since I am only lvl 41 I don't want to keep waiting game days to re-talk to the npc(its getting to be too expensive at 1k gill each time), so any suggestions would be greatly appriecated(sp).

The only thing I would add is that if you haven't talked to the npc since unlocking BLU, you will need to wait 1 real day before it will let you start the AF 1 quest.(I think it says 1 game day). Other than that, this is a good link.
