A little rant about COR and PUP quests
Last night i tried to solo the PUP quest at lvl 30(RDM). Realizing that i will die if i aggro, i very carefully set out through the MIre. Around the zone-line to the Reef(i believe it was I-7 in the Mire) my invis. was dropping so i goto a safe spot(at least i thought it was a safe spot) and wait for invis to drop so i can re-cast it. I made sure nothing was there(or so i thought) and when it dropped i started to re-cast it. To my surprise i get aggroed by little black things i couldn't even begin to know were there. I understand that we dont want everything to be easy, and i could see if it were a true sight aggro, but this was a "sneak attack" type aggro. Im upset at the fact that these things(forgot what they were called) can just appear out of nowhere. Also, if these things can take down anyone(even a lvl 75 since they link), how is it that i am supposed to get past these things when invis will not last the whole zone and there is no way of even knowing that these creatures are around. I have been able to get through any zone with sneak/invis- but i am not sure this can be done, unless there is some way of knowing that these dark "spots" are lurking. I realize im not supposed to be soloing this but i was able to solo BLU and figured PUP would involve similar sneak tacticts. I think a patch for the game should be that as long as u are not moving or on top of a mob-it should not aggro when re-casting invis.(considering all i was trying to do was get through the zone)

u have to know when to hold them, know when to fold them

Re: A little rant about COR and PUP quests
First, you don't have to wait for invisible to drop to recast it. The act of casting invisible makes invisible drop so you will only be visible for a moment. I've never been aggroed reapplying invisible. Sneak however you have to cancel and then reapply.

The mobs that aggroed you were Chioges. Monk-type fleas that aggro sight and sound, though not true sight or sound. They are not targetable before they aggro, but if you watch closely you can see them hopping around the zone. If you have the settings of the game to be dark they are difficult to see, might try increasing the gamma? of the game while traveling so that they are more easily seen.

I soloed the pup, cor and blu job quest without dying at all, so it can be done with a little bit of luck and a whole lot of patience. While they are much higher level mobs, you might be lucky enough to get a Elemental Seal + Sleepga to stick long enough to warp or zone. Though since they hit hard and fast you might need chainspell to get it off without getting interupted.

Good luck on the quest ^^

Re: A little rant about COR and PUP quests
Not waiting for invis to drop will help, but now my problem is how to see the Fleas(i have an idea-ill bring a containor of Advantage and spray the Fleas before they can sneak attack me). Can i get the item for PUP without the key needed for COR--if not is there a by-pass for the door?

Re: A little rant about COR and PUP quests
The PUP ??? mark is on the first boat you get to (before the Iron Gate), so you can get to it easily enough. The only thing about it is that there's a Drauguer (sp?) and a Merrow sitting right on top of that mark, just chillin there, so you've either gotta be really MGS about it, or get a few hi lvl friends to distract them long enough to get your CS there.

As far as a workaround to the Iron Gate, you can get to the COR ??? mark w/o the key, but it requires you to take a much longer walk past some True Sound Soulflayers, and come in from Dvucca Isle SP or thereabouts. It can be a pain otherwise (once you use your ??? mark in the marsh for the week, you gotta take out Lamia to get another one to drop).
