Genkai 1: Got Papyrus on the first kill! w

Great friend of my named Gyokoriprip came with me recently thru Beaucedine to the other end of Eldieme to help me farm for Papyrus for Genkai 1 a few days ago.

Needless to say, we geared up as if we planned on being there for the next 5 hours or so. I brought my sword and got my enfire and spells ready to skill up, while he brought along NIN/MNK @65 lol because he likes the idea of a taru spamming Raging Fists (and was really working his H2H skill w). Using meat he was doing 700-800 on bones. haha

Anyway, got to Eldieme, killed the first Lich and *BAM*, Papyrus dropped.

We both dropped our jaws on the floor immediately and went "WWWWWWWW" (w=lol in jp for the uninformed)

It was awesome! I remember playing my 1st character back in 2003 and doing Genkai 1 for almost 2 weeks. It was horrendous. I've also helped in pts to get G1 items and remember going simply for the added benefit of skilling up my spells/weapons.

I've never seen it drop on 1st mob and was quite happy and impressed. I finally had some luck for once in this godforsaken game lol.

Later, we went to get Mold in Crawler's. That dropped from last Exoray after clearing the tunnel/room. That was really spectacular. Went to Garlaige next and got coal after the 2nd Bomb. It was really hillarious because I play Galka, had on Shell + Barfire (enhance skill is about 20 pts under cap) and was just casting Stoneskin and got it off right as the 2nd bomb exploded and brought my 952 HP down to about 10 lol. My friend Gyokoriprip was rolling all over the floor spamming "GALKA RDM SUXXORzz" lol. That punk.

Anyway, it was really cool! Got Genkai 1 done within about 2hours. Most of the work was done running around, but me and my friend were chattin it up which made it all seem so quick lol. I just wanted to brag about this and maybe give someone some hope out there that....... you can have really great luck in this game sometimes and hang out with good friends that makes it worthwhile to play.
