Moogles in the Wild

My wife is trying to figure what is going wrong with this quest. Everything we have tried will not get it to work. Before we get into it this, she does have the following: level 9 fame in her hometown, previous moogle quests complete, the noble bed still in place, both of the items. She activated the quest and went to get the items. When she returned to trade them to the moogle, he would not accept them. Do you guys have any advice? Thanks.

If you sure you have started the quest, maybe double the check the item you've got? You can't use HQ version of the item by the way. Or maybe you need to be in the original area and not ToA to trade the items. Just some guess

Thanks for the guess but neither of those is the problem. They are both NQ items and she has only been trying it at her hometown. Anyone else have any other suggestions? This has really been bothering her.

My b/f is having a similar problem. Though this is w/ his first MH upgrade. He put the bed, got the quest active, went to Jeuno to buy the items. Thinking he'd be okay to move the MH, he moved it to Jeuno briefly, then returned to Sandy to give the items to the Mog there. The moogle no longer talked about wanting items, and would not take them. He's checked them a dozen times, they're the right ones. He's also kept the bed in there for every tally hoping it will reactivate, and it won't. So he effectively can never upgrade his MH, it seems.

My guess is that it would be the wrong items. My wife swore up and down that shs had the right stuff. When I actually went over it with her it turned out that she had a cap instead of a hat. Make sure he double checks everything.

So, Driven, does that mean that she was in fact able to complete this? Or are you/she she still having problems?

I had the same issue way back when. I took close to 2 monthes for the damn little fur ball to take the trade. I think in my case I counted 3 full "windy in first place" conquest tallies before it worked right.
