Tenso Invite

Dou you need to be at a certain lv or Rank to get a tenso invite? Or can you get it the first time you get to Jeuno. I know you have to go to Bastok to get the Paper.

I don't think there's any requirement.

no level or rank, but there might be a fame requirement (i know I couldn't activate it with a fresh mule).

It's been a very long time since I did this quest, but despite what that walkthrough says, I believe there IS some sort of fame requirement for it (what that is, I have no idea, but I distinctly recall people in FFXI NA Beta as well as beginning of retail who hadn't done many quests struggling with this who ended up buying a Tenshodo Invite).

I was a lvl 30 War when i did the tenshodo quest. i remember it was the same day we could do the 1st Toau quest for getting to Whitegate. I had lvl 2 fame in bastok and someone gave me a invite randomly in a party in the jungles. I had no problem finishing the quest.

to add....anyone know if you have max norg fame is there anyway to lower the prices of nin tools from tnshodo NPCs even more??? And i'm right saying the more fame you have the cheaper items from NPCs get....?

It won't drop any further if you already have max Norg fame.
