Can I get someone to help me with the last two items for this quest? Why anyone would want the saliva from an animal...I don't know.

That sounds like the Mhaura subjob quest from ..er ... Vera? The required items are a cup of dhalmel saliva, a wild rabbit tail, and a bloody robe.

All three items are acquirable from enemies in Buburimu Peninsula. Dhalmel saliva comes from the Bull Dhalmels. Wild rabbit talks come from the Mighty Rarabs. Bloody robes come from the Bogys that spawn at night in several locations at night (and also in other zones in the game). The problem with the Bogys is their spawn time is between 20:00 and 04:00. After that, they despawn, so you only have about a 14 minute window per hour to kill them.

Unfortunately, you can't really defeat Bogys even as a group at level 18. I would ask some kind passerby to help you acquire one; it doesn't take long for a higher level character to defeat a Bogy.

the drop rate from bogy seems to be much more common than the skull drop rate from ghoul. any bogy in vana'diel will drop the robe, just like any ghoul would drop the skull. for the other items you must get it in buburimu.

Thank you. I finished up the quest. But another question, what makes a good subjob for a THF?

Basically MNK (pre-30 or 33) and /WAR and /NIN from there. I don't think the sticky talks about the new jobs, but I don't think any of the three are considered useful.

Yes, make nice with the THF forums. But, piece of advice. Make sure you do a little research in the stickies before posting any queston. If not, most likely going to get a bunch of people saying the same thing, except a little meaner tone.
