Summoner Quest
Name of Quest: 'Forbidden Job'
NPC: Colltoll

Job level of both of white and black mage should be 40 for the quest to take place.
At first, you need White Orb (?u白のオ?[ブ?v) and black Orb (?u?浮ﾌオ?[ブ?v).
They are heard to exist in the storage warehouse in Norg.
There is an Orb which varies its color depending on the job of the person who touches it.

Pure White Orb:
If you dip the White Orb into 'The Lake of Mystery', which is said to exist in the furthest place of the Yuhtanga Jungle, a legendary sacred dragon appears. If you kill it, you'll get a Pure White Orb.

Jet Black Orb:
If you let a Black Orb touch on the corpse of Galka Priest in the furthest part of the Korrolaka Tunnel, it will turn jet black.
Also here, a legendary sacred dragon appears. You'll have to kill it.

If you get both of these orbs, go to the furthest part of Yuhtanga Remains, an event takes place. You can have job-change to Summoner then.

Ninja - Theif + Red
-- Red for the ninjutsu, theif for the stealth...

Samurai - Warrior + Monk
-- Cos it makes sense

Dragoon - Paladin + Dark Knight
-- Strongest and the most defensive jobs...

... and what sucks is it makes sense, and i guessed this would happen, ages ago...

Come on, calm down. It's clear those details aren't true because Square have said you can get Summoner without the expansion. Getting the orbs from Norg might be possible via trade, but using them in Korroloka and Yuhtanga wouldn't... chill out

This is also unconfirmed, but I've found someone was posting to be a ninja, you must be LV40 as monk and as thief.

And this is just my speculation, I presume these EX jobs' quests in such a manner that you must be at least LV40 with some combination of two jobs...

Sorry I cannot find any further information now.

HOW TO BE A SUMMONER

I hear you must clear a certain quest in Windurst.
You must be LV30 or more (with any 'one' of your jobs) to let the quest take place.

Karuhabaruha's House is publicly opened, and you seem to be asked to visit the Chamber of Oracles.

(The person who originally reported suggested we should clear some quests in Windurst, such as ?u?ｳ義の一味?v?A?uオバケの家?v?A?u名探偵誕?ｶ?v?A?u スタ?[ オニオンズ危機一髪?v. But it is unconfirmed, too.)

The former rumor I had posted was originally to be added in the expansion, but it seems to have been changed easier, in consideration of the pain we had to experience because of the multiple patches we had to download.

I have little information on whether you have to be LV40 with 2 jobs to get 3 other new EXs. Let's wait for further information from advanced users.

you have to go and fight those jump little leach like things around the world to obtain one of the red crystal they drop... you only need one..

then you go to windurst to the ghost house

then you want to go around the world to see all 7 different weather types

light, dark, wind, water, earth, fire, ice

then you go back to windurst again and obtain the summoner's job.

Ok, cool. Any idea where you go to experience ice and light weather ? And is the house you visit in Windurst walls, at the back? Oh yeah, do you have to speak to anyone to activate the quest. Last night eveyone was running around trying to talk to the Star Onions kids.

The content of the summoner quest which originally made the topic of this thread (Star Onions related one) turned out to be just a rumor. So you don't have to go to Star Onions for summoner quest at all.

At first, you have to get a カ?[バンクルの?g玉 by killing Leechers of ANY LEVEL.
Location of Leeches are as follows.

you only need earth, water, fire, lighting, wind, and ice

ice =beaudince and xarcabard
lighting= pashow, jugner, davoi
earth=kon, valkrum and other places
water= latheine, and other places
fire= oz, rolenberry, valkrum
wind= latheine, tagarongi and other places

after you find all 6
go to G-6
and trade the ruby
and you get carbuncle for first summon

also you can hunt yugudos in OZ for the wind elemental summon
not as strong as carbuncle tho

lvl 1 move for carbuncle = heal health 10 ~ 6mp
lv 5 move for carbuncle = poison claw attack ~ 11mp

2hour use it then
summon get special move
move to ur summon move list and added move is there
it used up all my mp and killed enemy in 1 hit

1) Jueno -> Sandoria -> East Ronfaure -> Ranguemont -> Beaucedine

2) Jueno -> Shout for taxi to Telepo Vars by a WHM -> Xacarbard

The two black parts are one way doors. The left one for people returning to ronfaure, the right one for people heading to Beaucedine.
