Dem field work is done in Garliage Citadel. (closer to Mea)
Mea field work is done in Eldieme. (closer to Holla)
Holla field work is done in Gusgen. (closer to Dem)
A loop of sorts.

But the others' are done close to their own crystals.
Yhoat field work is done in Yuhtunga.
Altep field work is done in Quicksand Caves.
Vahzl field work is done in Fei'Yin.

Also: Not a single bit of field work requires going to the zone that the crystal is in.

I had thought it strange that you get the Holla scroll for going to Gusgen, but I hadn't realized it could be part of a loop. I always liked the fact that WHMs can solo the first 3 scrolls before they can learn the spells. ^^

Holla represents water, Dem is lightning, Mea is wind, Yhoat is fire, Altep is earth, and Vahzl is ice.
