|   Dual Jobs & Chocobos
Hello, I am in Bastok and am at level 12 as a warrior. Can someone tell me how to gain the dual job ability and obtain a chocobo liscense? Thanks! |

Please use the search function.. somepage is your friend http://ffxi.somepage.com/questdb/397 - sub-job (or dual job as you call it) to start you need to be Lvl 18. http://ffxi.somepage.com/questdb/253 - chocobo quest - you need to be lvl 20 and get to jueno.

For the chocobo quest, I strongly recommend getting four gausebit grasses BEFORE going to Jeuno - they can be expensive or hard to get there, which is very annoying. You can get them from Wadi Hares in Dangruf Wadi. Wadi Hares are level 11-14 so they should be no trouble if you are close to 20, as long as you can fight them one at a time.

Here's a thread which might help you obtain the Chocobo License. If you decide to farm the grass yourself, ask a few friends to help. There are a lot of goblins near the Wadi Hares and it'll be a little easier if you go with a group. |

Yes, Nakti is correct. You will encounter a ton of gobs near the Wadi Hares. I'm currently a RDM 22 and a friend helped me out and he's a 20 THF. I'd recommend going with a group for sure, if you're still a lv 12. Karinya is right as well, it is advisable to get the gausebit grasses before heading to Jeuno. Have fun!
