note about using bst 2hr in birds of a feather and wings of fury

Today i organised an ls party for the bcmn30 birds of a feather, the other bst wanted to use the 2hr method where you 2 hour one of the pets then d/c to cancel the charm, but when the other bst D/C to loose charm the bird just became unatackable like if you were to atack another player outside of PvP, in the end we ran out of time waiting to attack it, it just regened then slowly went to starting position, so a note to all bst who plan to do this strategy to do this at your own risk since it may turn out to be like ours. Also due to the bcmn20 wings of fury being almost identical to this one i give the same warning because im sure SE changed that one too.


BTW we did 2 more succesful runs after where we got the chests, one with nothing good in it and another with an avatar belt (which the orb trader split the gil with us since we got nothing), i think i will go back to worms turn for my bcmn of preferance.

SETUP:
BST/NIN(me)
BST/WHM
RDM/BLM (mainly there to gravity on kited mistcharms)

when you use your 2hr as bst, you have to let the other mobs kill your pet. IF you mess up and you pet survives, you have to d/c, then kill the mob with ranged attacks

and with wings of fury,

Bst/whm uses 2 hr on one fury, and has it attack colo
pld/war tanks other fury while bst helps
whm keeps both alive

The other bst that did familiar did d/c then came back and we could not attack it at all the rdm tryed nuking, we tryed everything till we got kicked out.

you have to use a ranged attack... you know... bow, crossbow, pebbles chakram... ect

the pld bst whm is the best set up for wings of fury
I have successfully beat i 3 times
the first time i went as a summoner and that didnt give enough mana to heal both bst and pld even with bst using items and pld using her mana
so going as whm works but best to keep 2 yag drinks and a few ethers and potions just for safty sake, spending 5k on items is worth it if you can guarentee wining while useing them
