I played 3 years ago and recently started back up on a new account. Right now I have an 8 warrior and my hometown is Ssandoria. Where should I go to start questing?

questing? just talk to the various NPCs and they'll give you all kinds of quests

or do you mean XPing? in which case ghelseba should be your next spot until 11-ish

questing here isnt the same as say questing in wow.
questing here is mainly done for fame, items and access to more quests. no xp is given.

I know. But I heard that fame is needed for subjobs and what not. Basically I want to do something besides grinding sometimes.

yea it is, fame is needed for lots of things. getting your subjob doesnt need fame i believe, however unlocking some advanced jobs requires a bit of fame, or pre-requiste quests.
