need help getting DRG job

hello can any one help me please ive just turned lvl 30 RDM and i want to be a DRG and i no i have to get it in san Doria ive spoken to Arminbit in the cargo room and then i went to the cathedrol to speek to morjean ive done that but then i cant find the other person to talk to any help will be good thx

Did you go to Bostaunieux Oubliette and speak to Novalmauge? Bostaunieux Oubliette is the dungeoun underneath the Chateau d'Oraguille.

When you spoke to Morjean in the Cathedral, did you get asked to bring back an egg?

Once you see that CS asking you to bring back an egg, you should be good to go. Happy egg hunting!

Okay I'll be nice and explain the quest (I've tried search on this forum, but didn't find anything explaining the quest.. I'm a n00b here still!!) on the chance you have no idea what to do after you get the cut scene to bring back an egg.

Grab some pick axes and go to the Maze of Shakrami. I can't remember the exact <pos> of the Excavation points, but find the Excavation points and have at it until you get an egg. Take some silent oils and prism powders (or go WHM if you're WHM is high enough)just in case it's farther into the maze than your level 30 job can handle safely.

After you get the egg, go back to the Cathedral and talk to Morjean. He'll ask you to go see Yachemidot, and you'll get asked to travel to Meriphaud Mountains. Once in Meriphaud Mountains, you'll notice the spine that runs from one end to the other, this is called Doragora's Spine. On the eastern edge is a ??? that you will check and place the egg. The <pos> for this is K-8.

Travel back to San d'Oria and speak to Rahal in the Chateau d'Oraguille. You will find Rahal in the Royal Knights Quarters. Rahal will send you to Ghelsba Outpost. This is where you will fight the dragon, and if successful, join the ranks of DRG.

Oh, one more thing before I forget, after you get your egg, and do all the traveling needed to finally reach the dragon fight, make sure anyone who helps you with the dragon fight itself is either at the same part of the quest that you are, or has already unlocked DRG. If someone does not have DRG unlocked or not at the same place in the quest that you are, they won't be allowed into the battle to help you.

Don't forget to take the egg to Meriphataud Mountains.

You need to trade the egg to a ??? at the end of the spine and then you will get another quick cutscene.

Note: careful when you do this. Yagudo in the area will aggro you.
